Dillenger 1000 Watt, 48 Volt, 10Ah, Front wheel kit

Thanks for that but not noticed any difference(probably because its the 1000 watt motor). I also fitted slick tyres in place of the knobblies so maybe one cancellled the other out;).

    pedelec failure

The upside of having problems is it increases knowledge. My dillenger pedelec failed a couple of weeks ago and I am waiting for a new sensor, like you I cant just pull it to pieces because of the warranty.

Dillenger 1000 Watt, 48 Volt, 10Ah, Front wheel kit

Had the same problem this morning but it did not clear itself after a couple of minutes so unplugged the pedelec sensor and, hey presto, no more problems. I still think the problem is in the controller rather than the sensor but I will find out when the new sensor eventually turns up.

Dillenger 1000 Watt, 48 Volt, 10Ah, Front wheel kit

Had a slow(13.7Mph average) ride out today and managed to get 21 miles out of the 10Ah battery. Kept the gears at middle chainring and top gear on the wheel and used the throttle everywhere(as little as possible) except the downhills and pedalled all the time as well...

Wisper 905 - what's the Nm torque rating?

I cant find a BBS01 at 500 watts, can you put me up a link to one please so I can compare specs. It may be better for my needs and slightly easier on the geartrain.

Wisper 905 - what's the Nm torque rating?

That'll be the BBS02 then? I am considering getting one shortly and putting it on a mountain bike for off road riding. A bit dearer than your quoted price but in the UK and with free delivery. http://www.custom-ebikes.com/bafang-bbs02-750w-mid-drive-motor/ I will be using the battery from my...

    Dillenger 1000W, 48V 10Ah, Rear wheel kit /build thread.

On the Dillenger kit the PAS is meant to be fitted on the left so the magnet disc goes in the direction of the arrows. The sensor just sticks to the downtube and works fine with a gap of up to 5mm(well mine did till it packed up!!).

    Saddle sore already!

The bottom of my spine is shot from years of using tractors with metal seats and some days its so painful I have to roll onto my front to get off the sofa.. My bike has the standard Halfrauds saddle on which was uncomfortable so I got a Lidl MTB gel cover and that made it a bit better. The...

    Dillenger 1000W, 48V 10Ah, Rear wheel kit /build thread.

Mine had mechanical discs on but they were completely hopeless to the point where I was putting my foot down to stop! I got a pair of Clark Exo Skeletal hydraulic brakes for under £40 and can now lock both wheels no problem.

    Dillenger 1000W, 48V 10Ah, Rear wheel kit /build thread.

Your bike is similar to mine and if you look at my pic the controller bag fits on the top tube under the seat nose and the RPAS sensor is then the correct length to reach the crank. My bike is well balanced with the front wheel kit and as you say its a bit of a pain to pedal without power. My...

Dillenger 1000 Watt, 48 Volt, 10Ah, Front wheel kit

2 weeks after my RPAS problem and still no new sensor(although I reckon the problem will be in the controller). Hope this is not a sign of things to come as I know other folk are waiting to see how their customer service shapes up before deciding wether or not to order these kits. Found a couple...

All the pubs I frequent are within 8 miles so I am more than happy:cool: My next project will be a smaller, more economical motor for longer distances but will still need to be able to ease my 17 stones up the 14% and steeper hills round here. Of course I hope to be a bit fitter by next spring so...
