    Interesting BMW ebike proposals

As an ex motorcyucle mechanic I agree on BMW motorcycles and would never buy one myself, preferring the best from Japan. But my post wasn't about motorcycles, it was about unnecessary and inappropriate safety law. Nor was I recommending the BMW C1. But I do recognise it was a brave attempt to...

    Interesting BMW ebike proposals

Typically dishonest reply when I clearly posted about the half of autobahn that are unlimited. As a Mensa member, it must be a rather smart air bubble. And as for what other members think of me and my posts, one of the threads I started holds the record of 36 approval icons for a single post...

    Interesting BMW ebike proposals

Andy, you are so needlessly safety obsessed with imaginary risks I think you must be frightened by your own shadow. How can you bear to live as you do in a country like Germany where about half the autobahn network allows unlimited top speeds? How can you bear to live in a country like Germany...

They won't get anywhere here in Nanny State Britain with that. We were the only country in Europe refusing to allow their C1 enclosed and safety belted moped to be ridden without a helmet. All other countries in Europe and much of the rest of the world tweaked their laws to allow it.

You have a strange notion of what 20% of 150,000 is. .

Conveniently ignoring all those who refused to support the motion because they are friendly with Russia, such as 18 of Africa's 23 nations. Of course others vote this way, as I posted before, it's politics, they say what is most convenient in any current situation. The only things that really...

Like Woosh, totally locked in your emotional western mindset. What makes you think China really cares about the Russian behaviour in Ukraine? This is the China you were ranting about over the way they treat the Uyghurs! And this is the India with a pattern of forced sterilisation to control...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Of course, indeed Putin's Russia has already been helping that process by the mass immigration of Chinese into eastern Russia as part of that repopulation of the last two decades. All part of Russia's increasing move away from the West towards the East. China has the people, Russia has the...

They are already aligned economically and will cheerfully break the sanctions even more than they are already. India has only just signed yet another arms manufacturing deal with Putin, this time to make more Kalashnikovs for Russia. As the think tank spokesman said, "When push comes to...

I've already answered that for China, it's yes according to our think tanks and defence strategists. China and Russia have a common purpose and that will not change. And India is far more firmly aligned than you think and it's not just them in the Indian sub-continent. Pakistan's Imran Khan...

There is absolutely no way their attitudes are due to current energy prices! I'm amazed at how unaware you are of the very long term underlying relationships between both China and India with Russia. Both will make sounds agreeable to the West when that suits, but when the chips are down they...

This isn't true, India's government is firmly aligned to Russia and have reaffirmed that. I've been surprised at just how much the Indian people are supporting Russia over this war. An online nation who therefore must know the truth of what is happening in Ukraine, they are currently...

Agreed, but many of those countries are small, often tiny. China and India wont shift and being just short of 2.8 billion they are a third of the world population. And do you really see North Korea, Iran or Kazakhstan* shifting? * According to a survey conducted by the Central Asia...

Being a columnist suited Johnson perfectly, since in writing them one doesn't personally stand for the expressed opinions by one's actions. One merely suggests, for concealed motives, what others should stand for. Johnson leading the campaign for Brexit was a perfect illustration...

It would be good if true, but this is wishful thinking. Only a very small proportion might just shift, but most of those I listed have very long established positions and are unlikely to change. Something the West often fails to grasp is that the western "bleeding heart" isn't shared by much...

Trouble is that its not the World, it's only Western propaganda that the whole world is against Russia with this war, its very far from true. China and India are standing with Russia and they are a third of the world's population. Now add Turkey sitting on the fence and Erdogan pals with...

Definitely. That will speed up the healing between the West and Russia too, Putin will always be the stumbling block on that now, so he'll have to be gone first. .
