    eMTB buying advice

Very tricky decision for you to get the right size. I'm 5' 7" and have the 44 which feels slightly too big but my wife's (5'5") has the 40 and that is too small for me, although it goes feel more agile. These are both Haibike All mountain RC's. Where you going to buy from?

    Tyre advice please

If you enjoy off road riding then get as much suspension as you can afford. It just makes things easier and will flatter your skills. I bought a bike with 150mm front and back but my next bike will have 200mm at least. I'm considering upgrading to better suspension on my present bike.

    Haibike Downhill Pro - Owners?

Hi, there are a few of us that do your kind of emtbiking, although it has to be said we're mostly the wrong side of 50! Have a look in the e mountain bike picture thread to see what we get up to. F of Dean has a emtb competition end of April and there might be a few of us entering that?

eMTB owners photo and ride thread.

Just spent 5 days in the Gower Peninsular and on our way home had a few hours for a first visit to the Afan Mountain Bike Centre. Stunning scenery on the coast and a couple of photos of my wife and me, top of the cliffs on the Coastal Path route. Excellent facilities at the Afan and a nice...

Mini Enduro - March 4th - Bike Park Wales

Photos are brilliant! I wouldn't be getting air like in that 1st photo! Squidgy bum when my wheels are a foot off the ground these days! You used 2 batteries up? Was there no uplift?

Mini Enduro - March 4th - Bike Park Wales

Great report. Glad you enjoyed it. Yep, those big drops on the black runs put me off this one. 19 riders in the emtb class. Thats more than twice the racers that were at the last F of Dean event. The class is getting popular which is good news. What were the bikes being used?

Non-legal mountain e-bike with good torque and top speed that is under 1500 quid?

Danielrlee, the only bike at the cheaper end of the market (with a 750/1000w motor strapped to it) I would get on, would be like the one in your avatar!

Non-legal mountain e-bike with good torque and top speed that is under 1500 quid?

IF I was going to ride around on an illegal ebike, I'd want to know it was capable of stopping quickly and handle the power it's provided with. The bikes in the price range you're looking at are normal mtb's with a powerful motor strapped to them. A recipe for disaster imo! Save up some money...

    2.4 " off road tyres

I'd go for the M.Mary on the front? You've experienced what its like to have more grip on the back!

Mini Enduro - March 4th - Bike Park Wales

Maybe we can get a few of us from the site to come down for the April event?

I did see and photo'ed you at the October event. I just didn't know that you were you, if you get my drift?

Examples like that should be sent to a car insurance database. No one would want to insure him unless its at great expense.

DA55FOU. I'll report him on the Bad Driving website if you want? B@stards going to hurt someone having an attitude like that!

The one I'm thinking of is end of March?

Mini Enduro - March 4th - Bike Park Wales

We looked into this event and decided it was a step too far given some of the course is on the black runs. We're having a few days break on the Gower Penisular next week and weather dependent, will take in BPW on our last day. Good luck with the competition and if you do the Forest of Dean meet...

    The Trek has been upgraded

I appreciate the build qualty but there isn't enough ground clearence to do serious mtbiking? I'd be too afraid to smash the motor on a rock or tree stumps? Looks nice though.

Maybe they should rename them.......Buster Bloodvessels?

    2.4 " off road tyres

Those Magic Mary's always get a good write up. When time comes, I'd replace with them? Although the knarly downhillers at the Black Mountain C C said Maxxxis were the best. I don't know which ones?

    Buy new Dongle or not?

I had a root canal done without an anesthetic once! It hurt quite a bit. A Marathon Man moment!
