Help! Replacing a Bafang controller with different connectors

yeah read tricky for expensive.. could be expensive in time spent searching.. Most generic replacement ebike controllers employ a cadence sensor input, so finding a compatible controller with an existing torque sensor may be problematic, Im not sure all torque sensors work the same or if...

Help please? Power comes in pulses

Looking back a your pics,, is this a 'one piece' sensor you have split open?? And if none of those silver coloured lumps is magnetic at all I doubt they are magnets and perhaps used to interfere with even smaller magnets in static proximity to the sensors all encapsulated in the other half...

Help please? Power comes in pulses

perhaps 1 magnet has lost the sufficient magnetism required for a clear signal pulse, inturupting the pattern flow expected by the controller on occasion, kitchen scales should be sufficient to test the magnetic pull of each magnet to confirm or rule out my guess?? edit - afaik its a pattern...

    Odd fault

Plastic battery mounts can warp with age/elemental exposure removing battery contacts from optimum connecting positions, if the case, you may hear the odd pop and find the battery contacts appear to have arcing damage. shims and wedges can help reposition a battery in its mount and make solid...
