P13 looks like pas sensor ID 5x 8x or 12x magnet count, if an exposed magnet disk count the magnets.. if a closed single piece sensor i think its a 12x type, if not test the other 2 setting options, its not going to harm anything just fail to work if not set correctly,

thats a 12x magnet sensor iirc so every '5 minutes' of rotation should illicit a response if measured between black/blue, try turning the crank slower - also check your meter manual for the feature behind that max/min button.. seems like that might be ideal for this situation??

Fwiw my bikes crank axle is a tad wider then the 17mm optimum for the default 1 piece pas sensor supplied with the yose kit resulting in the sensor spinning with the pedals until the cable snagged and secured it in each direction, delaying both assistance starting and overrun when pedalling...

Yes a warped magnet plate could cause issues as the controller looks for a pattern of pulses to confirm pas activation and if warped disrupting the expected impulse pattern it could cause problems. ebay/ali express a replacement sensor if you buy the same style you need only replace the magnet...

Clean off and recrimp making Very good connections replacement connectors, connect and refit ensuring they are very well isolated from each other. Repeated arcing and weakening of the connections and resulting over heating could explain the degradation of performance?

if just the 2x power connections are fed out it could be one of the hailong mounts in this ad? edit whoops battery not mount.. most if not all batteries will come with a suitable mount so if replacing a dead battery not a big issue unless wanting to use both old and new batteries alternating...
