How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

That is pretty much how my motor looks after every few weeks of riding. :) I regularly drop it for cleaning purposes. I also apply ACF50 to help prevent the build up of corrosion. Even the motor on the new bike has already been out twice. First time to fit the Reverb, and now it is out again...

    Avoiding canal or footpath conflict.

Bunch of lightweights, this is what you need.

    Cycling etiquette

I can't say that one bothers me at all. I always give the faster rider that is descending a hill the priority of choosing a side, and just move to suit.

    Avoiding canal or footpath conflict.

That is what I don't understand about the thread that you started, where you complain about the cyclist not sounding his bell as he passed from behind. With that music blearing out, how do you know that he didn't?

    Bike stand

The stands are only 390mm wide outside to outside, and by facing bikes the opposite way around to each other, or by staggering the stands, the bikes can stored pretty much touching each other, so taking up next to no space. You would also have the advantage of being able to take the stand...

unpowered full s mtb is very hard work

I really enjoy getting out on the Ultra 1964 hardtail, and try to ride it at least once a week. Not sure that I could currently complete a 32 mile rides such as this http://www.pedelecs.co.uk/forum/threads/another-dirty-weekend.23956/ at the moment though, as my knee pain/muscle wastage seems...

Hello from the Sunny South Coast.

    Another dirty weekend!

Just paid £10.99 for an Sram 11 speed chain yesterday. That'll do for me. You need to get shot of the H bike.

    Another dirty weekend!

Thanks, I think! ;) :D SW, the front sprocket on my bike is just the same as the Shimano set up on my Macina Lycan. Which is exactly what Connex also told me.

    CREE Front Lights

Cree lights are pretty poor for off road riding. The spot beam makes them pretty much useless. http://www.pedelecs.co.uk/forum/threads/night-riding.23940/ I've had a few issues with them in respect of reliability, but given the cheapness, it isn't really of any concern. Not sure if I have...

    Another dirty weekend!

Take one new bike, and use it as it intended to be used. A brilliant morning spent on the Surrey hills. Before. After. Better with a KTM. ;) My love of hardtail mountain bikes has grown even further after todays ride. There were a few times when I would have preferred to have...

    Night riding

I couldn't add this to the above post. This doesn't do the Fenix any justice, but you do get to see a deer at about the 35 sec point. Deer are my greatest hazard when night riding. Every ride seems to have them running out across my path. I would have been out again tonight, but decided...

    Night riding

You will find that a few forum members don't even ride their e-mtb's in day time, so no hope of night riding. :D The vast majority of my off road riding is carried out after daylight hours, and I'm usually out three to four evenings a week. Obviously the need for lights during summer use isn't...

    Bike stand

100% stable. :) I also use them for when transporting the bike in the back of the van. I just locate the rear wheel as above, then put a strap horizontally from the from the front end, and the job is done. This company also supply some superb bike stands...

Funny that you should mention the charger. It was one of the first things that I had meant to check, but forgot. I'll take a look for you tomorrow.

You really do need to research before posting. The Stealth is bleed at the remote on the handlebars, and if you decide to remove the seat post at any time, you just pull the hose back through the frame slightly, and release the snap connector on the base of the post.

I'd sooner give up cycling and walk! I also have good looks and charm on my side, so don't require one. :) Besides the above, I'd also then have to change my user name to Izzyevergoingtorideabike .
