    Next project: light assist bike

I wouldn't have thought that you need a 29er for climbing steep hills? .

    Haibike sduro hardseven.

A Haibike that requires a cable tie to hold it together. Now that makes a change*. Do they come with a free supply of differing sizes and colours, or is it an optional extra.:D * Or at least for today.

Chinapig, the KTM has now been sold. :)

Bosch drive and min/max gear ratio parameters

Connex is the way to go. :) I've now got through enough sprockets of differing make and supplier, to have worked out that Connex make the most durable sprockets available. I'd would say though, that realistically you still might only get about 500 miles out of it. I get roughly 500-600 miles...

    Very nice indeed. :) .

Cube Reaction Hybrid Pro/Bosch CX 500wh

git-r as has already been said, it is just simple cable stretch, and it is likely to happen to most bikes at some stage or another. At your mileage, it would be no bad thing that to go back to the shop for an interim check over of the bike. Also with your mileage rate, it might also be worth...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

I keep meaning to fit a neoprene cover over it, to hide it.

A bit of a crap short clip from tonight showing the Fenix BT20. I hadn't realised that it had picked up some mud. :(

    Off Road Tyre Pressure Suggestions

Weighing in at a tad over 75kg, I run the Macina Lycan and Ultra 1964 at 25psi back and front. Tyres are Hutchinson DZO, running a tubeless set up. The side walls are reasonably firm on the Hutchinson tyres as well. It tracks over wet roots and rock as though on rails, but I pay for it when on...

    Bosch 45km drive unit

Yeah right, of course it has and does! That being the case, then your own admission of breaking the law (see below), is made even worse. .

    Bosch 45km drive unit

It still won't be no good to you if you can't flash the software. Being a bike that is illegal to use pretty much anywhere within the UK, Bosch very understandably aren't going to help with that one.

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

Ready for another night ride. Seems a shame not to get out and make the most of the good weather. That'll be two bikes to clean tomorrow then. :( SW, Pedros are another very good tyre lever, and I certainly rate mine. http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/pedros-tyre-lever/rp-prod10042 .

Do you need those type of tyre to ride on canal tow paths? Order one of these. http://www.bikegoo.co.uk/bike-parts-c8/tubeless-products-c27/proform-tyre-tool-p774 I certainly rate mine. :)

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

Phill, you really wouldn't want the strobe on. It is evil! :D You can pick up a Fenix BT20 for about £60.00 now, but it really does eat battery packs, and the two cell holder that it comes with doesn't seem to last five minutes. I found a really good light a while back, which I think SRS might...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

Depends what you want from a ride. Riding three to four nights a week, I see the Cree lights as too much of a compromise, as the spot beam isn't a lot of good off road.

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

SW I don't know why you are still using the Cree light SW. You should also try riding off road one evening and film it. :) Look at my Fenix BT20 for comparison. Taken two nights ago. Since writing the piece below, I don't use cheapo Cree lights at all any more...

    Bosch motor failure

That was the answer that I was hoping for. :) I read back through your posts from your profile, and you clearly enjoy the bike, and sometimes you just have to accept things for what they are, and how they have worked out. The best course of action is just to move on, and concentrate on...

Bosch drive and min/max gear ratio parameters

If you are using the system in an unassisted mode, I'd be surprised if it started to throw up any error codes at all. When in assisted mode, using say eco and the lowest gear for any great length of time, error codes can then appear. I suspect that is more down pedal cadence than anything else...
