How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

It was a close one today. I nearly cancelled the trip to the South Downs, as it was foggy and horrid here. I'm glad that I didn't, but I did have a couple of events kind of spoil the ride. Total ride length was 30.5 miles, and sadly I had to cut it short, to get back home again...

Go Faster Dongles! Here's another to consider

Well shoot me then, and take the risk. Second thoughts, just pass me the gun and I'll do it myself.

Only if the bike didn't have any mud on it.

Kudos Rapide gets 108 miles out of a 10.4 Ah battery.

As the thread has been bumped up again, so far I have only had time for three rides on the Woosh Karoo, but using the highest power setting for each ride, I'm now up to 53.20 miles with 4,245' of elevation gain and three bars of battery level still remaining from the 13ah power pack. I'm quite...

Yamaha or Bosch and Haibike or Cube

I tried to link Sherman's posts, but using the phone to type anything is a complete pain.

I thought that Scotland had a complete right to roam policy. Public access for all.

Seems like that is a national past time. :( All that money tied up, and then not using the bike. .

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

It's staying clean at least until Sunday morning, then it's back to normal usage. :) A mate is thinking of buying an e-race, and all being well and good, we will be out for a bit of a road ride on Saturday together, and I'm hoping to get some photos of both bikes whilst they are clean. I...

BH eMotion Neo Cross Status AND Pros and Cons of Local Dealership

It's not all negative with BH. On the plus side of BH bike ownership, you will never get to wear a set of tyres out.

    Yamaha or Bosch mid drive

On the thread that I linked to, Mossie has said that the thread goes straight into the alloy of the frame. I couldn't see it clear enough on the YT clip, and it could just be unpainted alloy. Other than Mossie there must be someone on here that actually takes their motor out from time to time...

    Yamaha or Bosch mid drive

Up until seeing this thread, I quite liked the look of the Yamaha motor with it's larger front chain wheel. http://www.pedelecs.co.uk/forum/threads/sduro-haibike-22-newton-torque-setting-bolts-ouch.23468/ On the assumption that all of the Yamaha motors are bolted directly into the frame of a...

Cube Reaction Hybrid Pro/Bosch CX 500wh

git-r most of this is irrelevant to you, but I'll post it anyway. :) Starting at the handlebar end, water is prone to get between the HDMI (console) and the connecting housing bracket. It takes surprisingly little rain to enter between the two, and I would advise removal of the console between...

E-Bike suitable for towing Special Needs Trailer

It might be a daft idea, but I wonder if there is a way or even a system that has the trailer as the powered unit and not the bike, with the controls operated from the bike. Dreaming here... A low geared dual drive system with a large battery.

    Whoosh Karoo quick Review

That point goes to show how we are all different. I have found the saddle on the Karoo that I am currently using, to be possibly the most comfortable saddle that I have ever used. I find the saddle as fitted to both my KTM Lycan and Ultra 1964 to also be superb, yet the saddle on the e-race P...

    Bulls electric bikes

I'd opt for a KTM, Cube or Trek before looking at a Bulls. There isn't enough of a price difference to make it worth risking the potential hassle when things go wrong.

I haven't dared to ride the Lycan since it's rebuild. :(
