Cube Reaction Hybrid Pro/Bosch CX 500wh

The motor mounts are three steel bolts with one flat washer and a nylock nut. I was talking about the allen key bolt that retains the crank axle. Oddly, I have just taken a look at an active line bike that I have here, and whilst it still has an allen key bolt, it also has a plastic sleeve. On...

Cube Reaction Hybrid Pro/Bosch CX 500wh

The creak will probably be caused by either a fractionally loose pedal crank, or motor mount bolt. By memory you require a 9mm allen key/socket to tighten the pedal crank. I should know the torque setting, but it has currently slipped my mind. You will soon feel if it is loose or not, but don't...

Pimp my HAIBIKE! What have you already changed on the bike?

Remember that a smaller, almost match box size unit is being released later in the year. :)

Pimp my HAIBIKE! What have you already changed on the bike?

There's even less logic in that thought. It's safer on the bars than there. A simple fall to the side, and it's game over the Intuvia.

Pimp my HAIBIKE! What have you already changed on the bike?

What's the f##k is the point of that! Why not leave the Intuvia where it should be and put the Garmin where the Intuvia now is. Some people really should not be allowed anywhere near tools.

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

I must be going soft!!! :( I'm currently being hassled to take part in the ride below next weekend, and for the first time since riding e-bikes, I'm thinking of passing it by. I never thought that I'd say that, but the last two years of doing it, haven't exactly been pleasant, and last year...

Pedelec for touring and day rides

I'll try and find a link later for a couple that have been touring on e-bike for a significant length of time. I might not have understood what you are saying correctly, but from your last reply, are you saying that you would prefer hub drive? If this is the case, then you are more than welcome...

Pedelec for touring and day rides

Perhaps think about converting an existing pedal bike. Sacrilege to use either, but I've long felt that a bike like either the Kona Sutra of Genesis Croix de fer would make the perfect long distance e-bike conversion.

Free membership still also allows an exclusion zone to be set. You don't require premium membership for that.

Looking for advice on a bike that could cover a 50 mile distance with ease

Occasionally. :) http://www.pedelecs.co.uk/news/giving/ And yep, I run two batteries. Tyre choice and riding in mud make the biggest difference to my bike's range. :)

Do you use Strava? That is approaching ten miles more than I can ever get out of my Macina before the battery is flat. .

    First Ride this Year

Three rides three days/nights in a row. A muddy 18 miles tonight on the Ultra 1964. :) I must admit that I'm really starting to enjoy alternating between e-mtb and pedal only.

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

I can see where the comment was coming from. My reasoning for buying a full suspension bike, was simply based upon comfort whilst riding on the South Downs, and nothing more. The additional speed aspect hadn't even entered my mind at that stage, but it does allow for faster riding, even if the...
