Will the GTECH become Britain's best selling e-bike?

I guess that if I were selling ebikes, my concern would possibly be that if or when the GTECH purchaser discovers that it perhaps doesn't fulfil the job that they had hoped or believed that it would, then they might automatically assume that all ebikes are the same and be put off purchasing/up...

Will the GTECH become Britain's best selling e-bike?

On my ride yesterday, I stopped within a mile or so of leaving home to allow a horse and rider to pass by safely, and the rider upon seeing that my bike was electric, immediately asked how it compared to the GTECH. I also had two elderly cyclists raise the name GTECH when I got to the level...

Sadly I was quite pushed for time by that stage of the ride. The thought of having listen a sales guy waffling on about the bike, whilst pretending to be interested in the bike was also enough to put me off. Maybe next time. I was dreading the same fate yesterday. After three punctures due to...

Certainly looked another lovely evening for it. Yesterday's weather also couldn't had been better here either. 60.8 miles 4,623 ft of elevation gain Av speed 10.8mph max speed 36.5 mph I actually ended up spending far too much time talking instead of riding, and purely by chance bumped...

Legal /illegal debate - proposal for a better forum

I'm afraid this currently sums things up for me. http://www.pedelecs.co.uk/forum/threads/emtb-owners-photo-and-ride-thread.24089/page-3#post-306098 I've had enough. Content of the above link, shown as I shall 'hopefully' be deleting it later, before yet another thread is ruined. "Soundwave I...

One part of the SD that I'm not quite so keen on is the Rodmell to Falmer section. Some of it has some lovely sections, but for some reason I have always found it a bit uninspiring. The Woodingdean - Rottingdean section is certainly not worth riding, and seems to be an area loaded with dog eggs...

Frustratingly still not got as far across as Cissbury and Chanchtonbury. Every time that I decide to do it, the view hasn't been clear, so I've always stopped short at Devils Dyke, and not gone further. I have all summer to get there. :)

This probably isn't going to be the answer that you are looking for, but to be honest, I just get on the bike and ride it, and give no thought to the geometry of either bike. The two things that make a difference to me are tyres that have an aggressive edge pattern to the tread, and the recent...

What a load of old tosh! Thanks anyway though. :) Not much to show for this evenings ride. I knew that I shouldn't have bothered, as it is now back to slippery muddy wet conditions. I guess that is the dry weather over again for this year! :( I didn't matter too much though, as I was mainly...

I often wondered what happened to the paint when British Leyland collapsed. The colour never looked good on the Allegro/Marina, and it doesn't look good now either. .

    2016 Woosh Karoo hub drive

I found the transition from assist to no assist okay, and the light weight of the bike and it's 700c wheels with 70 psi in the tyres must have played a massive part in this.. :) I'm also about 5' 11" tall, and on the very first ride, the bike felt compact rather than cramped, but that feeling...

    2016 Woosh Karoo hub drive

I'd say that is a difficult question for anyone to answer, as it very subjective to the riders own fitness, and what they might already be used to riding. Gearing aside on my hilly terrain, I found the Karoo an enjoyable and pleasurable bike to ride above the cut of level. But to view that...

    Brose motor problems

I've just been looking back through my private messages from July last year, where I was having a discussion about the Brose motor, and there are similarities between what you have described and what was being described in the private message. For various reasons the forum member decided not to...

Last shots from yesterdays ride. Back out again tomorrow evening for a ride locally. Sadly not quite the same! I'm should be working at Keymer on Wednesday, and if I am, it'll be rude of me not to put the bike in the back of the van, in order to head back up onto the South Downs late...

    Oxydrive ride recorded on Strava.

I was looking at your Strava activities about half an hour ago, and thinking how I long for knees to be able to cope with that kind of ride length. Another lovely day for it, and just the right temperature as well. :)

Continued. I guess that if you are going to get a puncture, then it might as well be somewhere with a nice view. :) I foresee a switch to tubeless this coming week. View towards Willingdon. The far side of the rape seed field, is the track where the photo above was taken from. I recall...

What a way to spend a Sunday. :) A drive down to the South Downs for an 8.00am start, short sleeves, cycling shorts, sun cream and sun glasses. Long may it continue. It was a really nice and chilled ride today, with plenty of conversation stops with walkers and runners, and a couple of liquid...
