With the weather being so great, it seemed daft not to pop out and check that all was well and good with the new dropper post and re-installation of the motor. Again not a particularly long ride at just of 12 miles. The elevation gain was 1,381ft The view looking back towards my house, and as...

    Tips for riding emtb efficiently

I guess that for my riding, I try to use as lower power setting as I can comfortably get away with, and when out with pedal only riders, never really ever get out of eco. This has been proven to really extend the range of the bike. All of that tends to go out the window when I am on my own...

Could Strava be used to catch the dongled?

I see that MCN have reviewed the Bultaco. That in itself tells me more than enough, and it isn't doing anyone any favours.

    Bulls electric bikes

Dave, James always conveniently fails to answer direct questions in relation to the Speed pedelecs, or by memory, software issues relating to the brose system. I'm reminded of a dealer from Hampshire that has the same habit, and nothing would convince my to buy from either one. The website...

    How do you clean yours?

Or it case just be a case of being more efficient, and cleaning after every, or almost every ride. The longer that you leave it, the harder that it gets.;) http://www.pedelecs.co.uk/forum/threads/cleaning-and-detailing.24065/ .

    Ghost Mtb

I can't work out if I like it or not. It's a bit of a Marmite bike. I like the headstock area, and seat stays, but don't like the extra brace on the top tube/seat tube, or the sweep at the bottom bracket area. I don't think that the pin stripe helps in that respect, as it pulls the eye towards...

E bikes help to make riding standard bikes easier

I think that I must have had one too many bottles of St Austell Tribute tonight. I read that as Armageddon. Not more talk about dongles!!!

Kalkhoff maintenance schedule - unrealistic and expensive?

I don't see that it is unreasonable to expect a cycle of any type to be serviced every 1000km. You haven't stated what the service work entales. It could be as simple as checking nut and bolt torque settings, checking spoke tension, safe operation of brakes, visual checks for frame damage...

I hope not to see any more mud until at least November. This has been a particularly long and muddy winter. I collected the new 2016 Reverb after work today, and have fitted it already. Interestingly it already feels better than both of the 2015 versions. It certainly smoother, possibly faster...

Please respect forum rules, and my own personal choice by ensuring that only UK legal emtb's are posted within this thread. Please use the Speed pedelecs (S-Pedelecs), Non-EAPCs section for all other bikes, including those fitted with dongles. If you do not happen to agree with the above, please...

To go tubeless or not to go tubeless.

To save going off topic in the Bank Holiday thread, I figured it best to start a new thread topic about the subject. Please feel free to add your own opinion in respect of the subject. Chris134206 has asked the following question. :) And the following is Fluds excellent response to...

Not really. I can think of seven other shops within the area that also sell e-mtb's. :)

    eMTB Tyre recommendation request please.

LeighPing. No idea why you think that you need to go as wide as 2.3 for your riding. If I were running 26" tyre sizes again, my first choice of tyre would be Panaracer XC Fire Pro in 2.1 sizing. It'll cope with the riding that you do with ease, and much more beyond. It is pointless spending...

Thanks Wicky, I tried that, and turning the computer off and back on again. I'm using a phone to write this. Just tried it again this morning, and it is just the same, the page won't load.
