    San Eagle 20" Folding bike.

Brompton build with torque in mind

Option 2: I'll use a small washer to support the dropout (I'll need to file the hole in order to fit it): And use a longer torque arm to spread the pressure along the bike: I'm thinking about going toward the second option and use longer torque arm, that seems safer. But not completely sure...

Brompton build with torque in mind

I've put a bit of painting on the rear cross for the rust, and also filed it a bit because it was rubbing against the bar: Now, the main part is to handle the torque. This is an 8T mac on a 16" wheel. So the speed wouldn't be very fast, but it has enough torque to do wheelie and kill the...

    Lightweight trailer

Tanks guys!! I won't spend more than 100£ on a carrier. It's just a carrier and I wouldn't spend that much money for something I'll just use to tow things. I just bought this one finally: Children Luggage Cargo Bicycle Bike Trailer New Y/B | eBay It's still on the heavy side with 10 kg, so...

    Lightweight trailer

I think I've found something better than the carrier: A web hook: It's lightweight, cheap and easy to carry. Going to look for a bigger version, so I could put a luggage inside the web hook. May use it instead of a trailer :)

Advice required on a brompton conversion

Hello matt, Sorry I thought it was a bpm. If it's a cute that's normal, it's another motor. I hope this little Q85 is going to have a long live, otherwise, it would be an opportunity for you to upgrade it to a cute100 or 128 ;)

Cyclist jumps red light & very severely injures pedestrian - fined only £800

I'm very often surprised by the carefulness both from cyclist and pedestrian. I've already had a clash with a pedestrian that jumped to my bike, and today I've seen a cyclist jumping from the sidewalk to the road just in front of me, without looking!! Almost had an accident. Damn it! And then...

Advice required on a brompton conversion

If it's a Q85 I think Slippa you're playing with the limit of the motor at 500W. I'd say 300-400W continuous would be a much safer place for this little motor. A member had his Q85 melted after 250km at 420W continuous and 640W peak with this motor lol
