Not in the sense that Soundwave has indicated to, but yes you can adjust it up and down manually. It has a quick release clamp.

You have just bought a Smart bike? You will have to tell us about it. :D

18650 battery box for front light

That does look a nice neat and tidy method. :) I use six cell battery packs, and use a cable tie to secure the battery pack to the frame. I figured that if a cable tie is good enough to hold Haibike suspension together, then it's good enough to secure a battery pack.:D

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

Loved the terrain and clip from the start. :)

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

Truth be known, I didn't wash it after the South Downs ride. I oiled the chain when I got back in and that was it. It's all clean again now though. I took advantage of the rain to help. :) I'm tempted to go out again tomorrow morning, but things are just so wet and unpleasant at the moment...

Why does a Pedelec cut out at 15.5mph?

Sherman, a forum member has one, and I'm sure that he would be more than happy to answer questions that you might have. :) http://www.pedelecs.co.uk/forum/threads/how-many-people-are-using-there-e-bike-off-road.15780/page-52#post-277752

    Smart ebike out of production?

If the glove fits, wear it. I think that we have a matching pair. :)

Nippynoo hasn't said that they want to ride off road. In which case, the hub gears could make perfect sense for them. :) Good point about the coil sprung forks. They certainly wouldn't be my prefered choice. Fine for road use, but not very inspiring otherwise.

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

Another evening ride out of the way. Just a quick 18 mile loop tonight. As expected things were pretty muddy, but at least it was a lovely clear sky. I also worked out the discrepancy in mileage from the other evenings ride. I have switched back to Intuvia, and the calibration is out. I'm...

I'm not knocking the Alfine hub, and in road use, it has many benefits. Off road though which row is angling towards, it wouldn't be long before the internals give up in adverse riding conditions. I'm not saying that is any way a fault of the hubs design, as clearly it isn't. But for off road...

With the extra torque of the CX motor, I'd want the 500wh battery. row, your first link showed hub gears. If you do intend to start riding off road, I personally would want to stick with a cassette/derailleur set hub.

I hadn't spotted Gringo's comment about the Active line motor, and he is correct. I'd say that for 95% of people and 95% of the time, an Active line motor is spot on. I have one on the ladies bike that I have here, and it gives a very pleasurable and enjoyable ride. Next up is the Performance...

There is an e-bike shop in Brighton marina now. I've not been down for a look, but it could be worth hunting them out, to see if they have any demo bikes. You also have 50cycles at Shoreham. Same again, see if they have any demo bikes. Slightly further away, but multi brand and worth visiting...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

My vid or Soundwaves? The Swiss trip aside, mine are always off road, Soundwaves are always on public roads and footpaths. The forest looks very similar to one on my doorstep. :) Even if cloudy and damp, it looks as though you have soil that is nice and free draining. I'm out again tomorrow...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

I was working at keymer, and set off from Ditchling Beacon to Newhaven. Some or rather most of the route was okay, but a few sections did make me think about just how miserable and heavy going that it can be up there. One more heavy down pour and I suspect that it won't be very nice. The...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

Bit of a discrepancy with tonight's ride. I made it 47 miles, which corresponds to battery usage, but it is only indicated as 32 miles. Strange. It lashed it down with rain after about the first 25 miles, and the wind had the bike leaning, whilst I struggled to keep it up right. I'd forgotten...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

Sorry no, I'll have to scroll back to take a look. Thanks. :) I'm off for a late afternoon/night ride on the South Downs Tomorrow after work. Should prove interesting, as I've not ridden on them at night, and I suspect that the routes are going to look very different and confusing. All good...

    Strava Palaver

I had notification earlier on that you had been out again. I'll have to pop and check now. :) Go into edit, open the first window down, which probably says ride. E-Bike ride is at the very bottom of the drop down list. The ride will still show, but your stats won't be added. I've one ride...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

Unlike the seemingly pandemic use of cable ties to hold FS Haibike's together, that is just one opinion. I'd say it is more a case of this with KTM. :) How about some more dirty pictures of the two wheeled kind. :) .
