Use led light for warning signal

Guys, I connected the light in series with the flasher as pictured. - X for the 12V red. - L in series with the light and the ground. The light are now on. But they do not blink. Did I do something wrong or the flasher is not working because of the problem yesterday?

Use led light for warning signal

I received the flasher. It has 3 prong marked L, P and X. There was no instruction at all but I've read online that X was for the battery, P for the ground and L for the signal. I did that: - Connected the X to the red wire of the battery - P to the black wire of the battery and the black...

Group purchase of A123 battery pack - VictPower

Hmm... I should then consider 26% additional cost, which leads to 0.49$/wh.. Still cheaper but I'd need a way to pay less. Have some pictures from them: Unfortunately, that's all I can have. I asked for more details such as the connections and soldering, but here's the answer: Me...

Group purchase of A123 battery pack - VictPower

Hello there, I've contacted VictPower for an assembled pack of 20S 20AH A123 pack. So for a total of 1320wh I had a quote of 515,8$. So it's around 25.79$/cell or 0.39$/wh. The price is correct. The pack would weight 0.55kg*20= 11kg. So the weight would be around 120wh/kg. That's quite...

    Security of bikes...how nickable?

Actually I'm planning to leave my battery on my bike when I park it for few hours. But the battery would be hidden inside the brompton bag. I've tried to hide as much as possible all the "electric" components visible from my bike. People looking at my brompton just think that my motor is a...

    A123 20AH prismatic ultra cheap

I asked them and they can install a BMS on it. Unfortunately, they quoted my 29.75$/cell. That's way more expensive than the Bauer module. Not sure if I'm going to buy it as I don't know how to attach balance plug to the cells..

Yes, front wheel conversion would work with a low power motor. (As well as the rear wheel with something such as a G209 or a Cute motor) But the main problem is not the dropout width, but rather the motor axle that has to be machined in order to accept the magnet.

    Security of bikes...how nickable?

True that a pair of plier can go over the bag.. but not over the kryptonite fageitaboutit. Anyway, I suppose most thieve wouldn't want to open the bag just for the sake of opening it?? Maybe if I add a cover over it, it would work better?

This bike is quite difficult to convert. If has 110 mm rear dropout and magnet is directly plugged to the hub axle. So the hub motor axle has to be machined in order to accept the magnet.. Quite a challenge actually. That's one of the reason (actually the main) I didn't go any further with...
