    haibike frame protectors

If it's to protect from just stone chips, then use heli tape, and for anything else, just make your own, or possibly see if a Muckynutz frame guard would work. I can't remember which make that I once bought, but I soon gave up with the idea of it. It might have been Crudcatcher or similar.

    List of forum sponsors.

Thanks Trex, perhaps I didn't phrase things correctly. I should maybe have said 'trade member' who I guess also help to fund the site either financially, by knowledge, or both even. :) This being the case, the list above then leaves several out. I just didn't want to potentially promote...

    List of forum sponsors.

I'm probably missing it as I guess that it is somewhere obvious, but I'll ask anyway. Is there forum sponsor list? I'm only asking as I have just discovered today, that there is an e-bike shop opening roughly seven miles away from me, and I'm just curious to know if they are active members of...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

Nice. :) Do you happen to have a map of the route?

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

So going from a lovely dry and dusty ride on Sunday, to a ride yesterday that saw me with a wet backside and a bit muddy, within less than five minutes of leaving home. Oh joy. :( The biggest frustration was that it would seem as though I have removed the WTB Vigilante from the rear too soon...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

Certainly no shame in walking down something. I've frequently done the same, although I often kick myself afterwards for not having tried. I'll even do the same if I'm out with others and they ride down something that I'm not comfortable with. I won't get pulled into that "go on do it" not that...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

A hobby that has always appealed to me, but somehow I've never got around to. We are about to get a new next door neighbour who also happens to be a bee keeper, so who knows. I've already told him that he is more than welcome to place some hives in our garden. :)

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

Many thanks for the kind words Nealh. :) Ref the bees, I hope that they do manage to survive. They were certainly very busy and very noisy. They were just beside a gateway on one of the bridleways. At the moment I suspect that their greatest threat could be from someone interfering with them...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

It seemed a shame not to get out and enjoy a bit f the bank holiday sunshine today, so down to Wilimington it was, for a short ride of that section of the South Downs. Today's ride swapped mud for Cow and sheep poo, and this was something that I'd forgotten the joys of. This was the...

    another bike

Sadly I know nothing about the Kudos range, but I don't seem to recall reading anything negative about them, and the price is certainly competitive. I'm sure that as an alternative style away from the road biased Wisper, that it would make a very nice bike, and hopefully at the same time, open...

Buy these gloves at your peril

You should have gone for these, and just bin them after a while of use. ;) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/24-Pairs-Of-Brand-New-Black-Nylon-PU-Safety-Work-Gloves-Builders-Grip-Gardening-/181035416873?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&var=480221485172&hash=item2a268d3d29 In reality, they would probably make your...

Billliant Izzyekerslike, always good to have another e-mtb out there, and good luck with bike. :) Now we just need some photos of it in action. :) Three from yesterday evenings very chilled ride, trying out a new location. And one from a few evenings ago. Kind of urban exploring, but...

Best Ebike mileage.....on ONE battery charge

Eco is a bit of an odd one. I find it next to useless if out on my own riding, but it suddenly becomes a viable option for when out riding with anyone who is on a pedal only bike. I also find that tour is pretty much an ideal setting for pretty much everything. At the end of a ride and if I'm...

KTM Macina Cross 10 Plus - thoughts

Or the other way of looking at it, is it worth having full suspension, when you get barley six months of benefit from it off road. I have it, but I wouldn't overly miss it if I didn't. In many respects, I enjoy the freedom of my hardatil mtb more than I do the burden of the extra weight that an...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

Sherman, that looks a lovely bit of mixed terrain. Once again, stunning photos. I particularly like the "gnarly and slippery single track" :) Lumos, I'll have to try the ceramic version. I've always been a bit dubious about chain lubes and their claims, but do feel that Muc Off is the best of...

Best Ebike mileage.....on ONE battery charge

Brilliant read. :) I'm another that just prefers to get on and ride, with no fixed route in mind. :) Generally speaking if using assist modes only, eco and tour, I would struggle to get much more than 20 miles from a charge. Using a mix of eco and no assist, realistic range with a mix of off...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

I understand. :) I thought about putting dry lube on the chain as well just a few days ago, but decided against it for now. :) Recently I have been using a MuckOff wet lube, and they must have changed the properties of it. It works incredibly well, but boy does it attract a build up of dusty...

KTM Macina Cross 10 Plus - thoughts

No problem ajb9. ;) Just to add to my previous post, something has struck me that I could be very wrong about the useable battery mileage difference. Even with just road use, I'm stupidly comparing two very different bikes. Upon reflection, I suspect that gliding along as effortless as 700c...

KTM Macina Cross 10 Plus - thoughts

I'd hardly consider that you are being a pain. It's an expensive purchase, so why not research and ask. :) As said in the other thread, I would imagine that most Bosch powered 700c wheeled bikes would be a pleasure to ride. Aimed at different market, the ex demo ladies Macina Fun that I bought...
