    bike lasers

Hope that you have a 6x 8650 battery pack with that light, and not a 4 x 8650 battery pack. Front lights, I have a Fenix BT20 for road use use. The light is too yellow to give clear definition off road, but this colouring makes it very good for road use. For off road use, I have a 4 cree...

Your dongle isn't legal for where you ride, so why are you worrying about the legalities of a light? ;)

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

Like SRS also once said, I'd sooner give up riding than wear full face and goggles. My riding is mainly single track, not down hill. Lovely photo though

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

The photos above were taken at roughly 28-30mph. Fastest on road, just over an indicated 50mph. The pedals are fine as they are, as is the rest of the bike. I don't need to keep finding and making changes, for changes sake. :) In the day time, myself and my mates have a fairly level playing...

End of what was a very hot event.

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

Dave is spot on about the phone, especially now that Strava has at a glance viewing with "get you home" setting*. Here is another alternative http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2050601.m570.l1313.TR11.TRC2.A0.H0.Xsatmap.TRS0&_nkw=satmap&_sacat=0 * Or so I'm told, as I...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

I just bought an Intuvia Active/Performance line kit that included the loom and head unit, and swapped things over, so I guess that fitting a Nyon unit would be the same, but in reverse. The Nyon doesn't seem to work when fitted to an Active line motor though, but does with the Performance line.

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

Only took a couple of weeks to arrive, but there is probably some UK sellers as well on Ebay. I just didn't look. Couldn't answer about using it as a handle, but it does clamp up very tightly. Ref the Nyon, I only re fitted it the other day, as I was giving someone a demo on it a week or so...

Hopefully the link will work. Just got it from Ebay. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/321636890637?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&var=510530734302&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

Soundwave, there could be several things going on with it. Cheap crap disc, wrong pad material for the disc and as Lumos has stated, incorrect caliper/pad position. Good luck with the Hope ones, and if you are going fully floating, enjoy the potential of added float rattle. ;) Just an...

    cycling partners?

It's probably easier than you think to find someone to ride with, and anyone that judges your for using a pedelec, probably wouldn't be worth cycling with any way. I can't answer for other towns, but here in Crowborough, the local bike shop has a cycling club that caters for all levels of...

    cycling partners?

It would also pay to put whether you are road riding or mtb riding. I realise that you have specifically put e-bike riders, but If you are happy to pedal along with non e-bike riders, then Strava can be a good source of finding like minded people to ride with. I that guess these would as well...

    Best book on bikes

Try here. http://www.pedelecs.co.uk/forum/threads/smiles.21876/#post-274038 This book also popped up as an advert on my FB page yesterday, but I have no idea if it is of any use. http://www.merlincycles.com/zinn-and-the-art-of-mountain-bike-maintenance-74609.html

    I Ped S?

I'll have to take a closer look at what our local post office use. They use electric mopeds for deliveries, but I've never paid them any attention. They are certainly registered though.

    HEAD PROTECTION

I really rate my MET helmet. The camera mount screw sheared off when I fitted it, but I'm not concerned about that, as I was never intending to use it anyway, but just wanted to see how the fit was. The risk of neck damage through use of helmet mounts is too great for me to ever want to use one...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

Sherman, It sounds as though we both should have stayed at home today. Well that's another organised mtb event done and dusted, and I think that I can honestly say that it was also the hardest. It was just way too hot up on the South Downs, a point that was mentioned by many. I started to feel...

    Giving a little back

Thanks. I think the fact that it is so bizarre, is the exact reason that I like it so much. Oddness appeals to me.

    Giving a little back

Can't sadly see the superb any more. But yep, I'm a massive fan of the Apache. Oddly, my favourite helicopter is always going to be the Lama. Having a very scary trip in one persuaded me about just how good that they are. :) What is a shame, is that they are no longer allowed to be used for...

    Giving a little back

The little gift shop that would have been behind you when you took the photo, belongs to my friend. :) Amazing photos. My wife told me to stop dribbling at the Apache. Meiringen is a superb place to both watch and to take aircraft photos from. Sadly Air Glaciers lost a helicopter and pilot on...

    Giving a little back

Many thanks Lardo. I've gained several friends over the years that live in Lauterbrunnen, and it always somehow feels as though I'm going home when I visit. What was the weather like for your trip? We were very fortunate, in that it was mid thirties every day. Too hot really, but it made...
