How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

Buy yourself a multi tool. I've seen too many chains snap at organisied mtb events, for me not to ride without one. Mine is this one http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/topeak-18-mini-tool/rp-prod11318 but there are thousands of other choices out there. If I was buying again, I'd probably take...

    shouldo i be worried?

Giving more thought, and the fact the bike is new and immaculate.Check that you don't have a tight link in the chain.

That's got to be done. :D Brilliant for when I ride out with the other lads.

Yet another wet ride this evening! Hearing the rain hitting the windows before setting off, is never a nice. :( Still a good way to clear your head though. :)

    shouldo i be worried?

As has already been said...If the chain had been muddy or very greasy, then I'd be thinking chain suck. It would have released itself the moment that your foot was off the pedal, so you wouldn't have seen it. If the condition of the chain is fine and clean, is the front sprocket hooked and...

    Smiles

Another Youtube vote, but choose which video advice to take notice of carefully, and watch several before diving in. If you still require a book, then this is a good as anything else. http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/park-tool-big-blue-book-of-bicycle-repair-vol-3/rp-prod109887

No idea what you require, but I just use KMC10.93 chains on the KTM. I usually just wait until they are on special offer, then buy a few at a time. :)

Why does the Strava copy say "With a quick go on a Haibike"

    Mudguards

I loathe mudguards, but I run a Mucky Nutz front guard throughout the year, to stop crud going into my face, and the scud launcher on the rear, in winter months. I'd rather have no mud guards at all though. I also use a shock guard during the winter.

By the time that you have finished with this bike, it'll be like Triggers broom. :D There you are, we have a name for your bike... The Broom. :D Kudos Dave reckons that Haibike make the only FS e-mtb. So I reckon that mine must be called Scotch Mist. .

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

Soundwave, have you been putting treacle on your chain and sprockets? :D Loose the cable tie. With proper maintenance the linkages won't come loose. Whilst for whatever misguided reason German Pedelec forum users think that it's smart to fit a cable tie, it isn't. You won't be aware of when it...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

The stock set up works perfectly, so I'm not about to go spending money just for the sake of change. :) Everything about the bike is perfect for my use. :) Normally I would have cleaned, lubed and gone over the whole bike before putting away, but as I intend to strip and fully service it...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

Not my kind of thing. I'm happy with the bike, just as it is. :) I did have to strip off and use the hose pipe. That is one routine that I don't like in mid January. I can't say that I missed the water running down the crack of the backside after 12 miles either. I'd also forgotten just how...

    New Bosch Coming!

Can't answer that one, but I can confirm that my bike that has the Bosch Performance motor, certainly has more climbing grunt than my bike with an Active Line motor. I can only assume that the CX Motor would see the same leap forward, but I'll just have to wait to find out, when I get the chance...
