Bike Europe draws attention to illegal tuning kits

I'm both middle aged, own a KTM product, and ask that you fully explain the above statement. .

Discounts on Bikes at the Cycle Show

I don't think that I'll loose any sleep over it. :) Did you get to look at the rear hub though before it kicked off. I can't find the images that I had seen of it, but trying too find anything about BH bikes isn't exactly easy. The search just takes you to 'white goods' ;) Ref the domain...

    Helmet camera recommendations please

The chest mount has made things pretty 'bouncy' and I guess that I need to play with settings to get things sharper. It'll be fun trying though. :) My biggest issue, was the uploading to YouTube. it took an hour just upload that short clip. It kept mentioning encoding the clip to make things...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

Really not been feeling that great this week, so have only been out yesterday and today for two shortish ride. Even having the electric motor I was struggling to get up each and every hill, and made frequent stops. Trust me to have worked with someone who had picked up gastroenteritis! I just...

    Helmet camera recommendations please

Looks like I am going to need some more practice with the camera. Not going to bore you with massive long clips, but this was my first attempt at using it. Things can only improve! I was also using a chest mount, and this is the start of one of my regular night time ride routes.

Discounts on Bikes at the Cycle Show

Do you reckon that Ebike Shed have got to stage yet, of paying the show visitors to take the BH range of bikes away. ;) If you happen to go past the stand, take a look at the new rear wheel axle layout. I noticed the other day from a photo that it appears that a spanner is no longer required...

Breaking a bike chain using a chain tool?

    Hope that it's a cordless one. ;)

    Caraok electric one wheel bicycle

They are missing a trick with the Caraok. They should make the unit to fit inside of standard wheel barrow dropouts, and have a restricted throttle and handle bar grip. The marketing potential for a retro fit powered wheelbarrow, would surely be bigger than it currently is as a pointless toy...

Bike Europe draws attention to illegal tuning kits

If I can find the thread and specific post again, I'll post the link, but I did read a few weeks back on the German pedelec forum, that Bosch intended to clamp down on Bosch authorised dealers that are selling dongles, or more specifically, look closer at warranty claims made by those dealers...

Breaking a bike chain using a chain tool?

None specifically. If you Google cycle multi tool, or Topeak multi tool, loads of examples should show up. I think that Halfords currently have 15% off cycle accessories and tools at the moment. I guess that the main consideration is to make sure that the tool actually contains tools on it that...

Breaking a bike chain using a chain tool?

If you don't already own a multi tool, it could be worth spending just a bit more money and buy a complete multi tool with it built in.

2014/2015 KTM Macina Lycan gps +

I've just written out a bloody great long mid term review of the bike, forgetting that this thread was already started! So how have things with this bike been. On the whole brilliant. I still don't really know how I feel about mid drive bikes, but with a hub drive bike arriving soon, I'll then...

Will there be any ebikes at the London Bike Show?

Dealer list. http://www.thelondonbikeshow.co.uk/stands/ I had planned to go along, but the prospect and thought of a being in a busy place, is my worst nightmare. I also looked at the e-bike dealer list a few weeks ago, and decided that there was nothing of any interest there for me, or worth...

Why I like buying from Wiggle

We all get suckered into the world of Haribo. I tend to use Bike Dicsount.de or Rose more than Wiggle. The cost saving allows me to buy a much larger packet of Haribo's should I so wish. :)

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

That certainly looks a lovely dry route. I wouldn't mind some of that right now. :) All that I did today, was a 9 mile road ride on the pedal mtb. I wanted to see how my KTM pedal only mtb compared with the Scott road bike that I have borrowed. I've not seen Sports Tracker before. I rather like...

Not me. I just copied your spelling. ;)

    Tyre sizes

I'd still suggest asking someone qualified to answer the question though. :)

    Tyre sizes

I can only answer for my old BH Neo Xtrem. That came fitted with 2.1 tyres on 26" rims, and for a brief time of riding on the road with it, I fitted 1.4 wide slicks with no problems. If you need a narrow aggressive tyre, perhaps also take a look at cyclo cross tyres. I fitted Schwalbe CX Pro's...

Brilliant find Wicky. Many thanks for that. :)

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

If you fancy some digging sometime, I'd happily join you. :) You are right about the place. No matter what the weather, it's an exhilarating and wonderful place to be in. I think that I might have said it before, but evenings are very special time to be up there. The mood changes, and the place...
