    RANGE

I've found that the my performance line motor is way down on mileage per charge than my old active line motor. But I guess that the extra 12Nm of torque offered by the performance line motor, is the cause of this. In truth, I can't say that I've ever noticed the difference in real term...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

So much for me saying that I would rather be stuck indoors. Tonight's 23 mile ride was brilliant. :) Several new tracks that I didn't even know existed, but the mud in places on the existing tracks, seemed even worse than normal. The lad that I rode had big problems with both chain suck and mud...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

Nice one. :) We might well have company for the ride as well. Which bike were you thinking of riding? The lad that I have been out riding with over the last few weeks has expressed an interest, and he just has a pedal only. I'm shortly off out with him for a bit of a night, and will see what...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

Well it's that time of year again to start booking up rides for the 2015 season. :) I thoroughly enjoyed this one last year, and with the action cam on order, perhaps there will be film footage as well as photos. :) You up for this SRS...

    Another bike

Okay this one isn't mine, but even after my first nine mile ride on it this evening on our icy cold roads, I already really rate it. Someone has kindly lent me a Scott Sub 10 with Alfine 8 hub and gates belt drive. The mudguards which incidentally have a rated load capacity of 35kg when fitted...

Kaley Cuoco, what's not to like about that. :)

    Need Stand

I'm another that likes to suspend their bike. :) Putting casters onto the legs of an old table also makes for a very handy workshop addition. The handlebar clamp as shown below, was definitely worth buying.

I'm beginning to hate (some) cyclists

I can't post a direct link to the video, but I bet that they get fewer incidents such as this one posted on the 28th Jan from this persons FB time line. https://www.facebook.com/arthur.debellotte

I'm beginning to hate (some) cyclists

I disagree John. It's just down to mental attitude, and fashion statement. The fact is that UK riders just don't want to be seen riding comfy sensible bikes. They have no street cred. If all riders were on them, then the pace would simply become sensible, and probably a hell of a lot safer...

I'm beginning to hate (some) cyclists

I saw the following on another forum recently, in which attitudes and opposite comparisons were being drawn between the typical British cyclist, to that of riders from across the other side our little stretch of water. This made me smile. Amsterdam. London.

I'm beginning to hate (some) cyclists

That's quite an interesting and light weight looking bike. Any chance of more details about it? .

Can anyone help me on what bike to buy....

BBB, can I ask where you are based?

I'm beginning to hate (some) cyclists

I had quite a bizzare and very negative response from two road riders last weekend. I had been out getting muddy as usual, but when I stopped for a cafe stop, I happened to bump into my cousin who was out on his road bike. I opted to cycle the ten miles back home with him on the road, and along...

    It could be a record

Nah, thanks though. :) Irrelevant of mileage, it's always good to get out on a bike, as it somehow makes you feel more alive. It's certainly good for mental well being, as well as physical well being. Without the introduction of e-bikes to me, I'd have missed out on an extremely pleasurable...

    It could be a record

Well done Dave. :) It certainly makes my 130miles seem a very poor show. :(

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

I'm impressed that you went out, and that's a creditable distance to have ridden, given the conditions. :) We currently have very rainy wet snow falling here at the moment, and I think that I might well stay tucked up indoors.

    RRP Neoguard Fork Mudguard

There seems to be loads of lads using them, and all that I have spoke to really rate them. I'm not convinced my self though, and just wonder if they are too embarrassed to admit that they wasted their money. Looks easy enough to make, so maybe I'll give it a go to see for myself. I really...

    Seeking clarity on the law

I sometimes see a lad riding a Stealth Bomber, which he uses to commute on. Being fair to him, I've yet to see him riding at a speed that would attract any attention, and never seen him not pedalling. It's certainly a very odd choice of bike given his riding style and complete lack of speed. I...

Maybe not the result we all wanted, but still good

Strange they forgot to mention the lack a current vehicle excise licence and MOT for the vehicle.
