I've found that the my performance line motor is way down on mileage per charge than my old active line motor. But I guess that the extra 12Nm of torque offered by the performance line motor, is the cause of this. In truth, I can't say that I've ever noticed the difference in real term...

I'm another that likes to suspend their bike. :) Putting casters onto the legs of an old table also makes for a very handy workshop addition. The handlebar clamp as shown below, was definitely worth buying.

I disagree John. It's just down to mental attitude, and fashion statement. The fact is that UK riders just don't want to be seen riding comfy sensible bikes. They have no street cred. If all riders were on them, then the pace would simply become sensible, and probably a hell of a lot safer...

I saw the following on another forum recently, in which attitudes and opposite comparisons were being drawn between the typical British cyclist, to that of riders from across the other side our little stretch of water. This made me smile. Amsterdam. London.
