How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

I don't reckon that it's off topic Phil. :) After all, if wasn't for the KTM and riding off road, I wouldn't have been out there. But just to keep everyone happy. :) Right, onto the finds. This now has me even more interested in the South Downs. My passion and love for the area has been...

    Helmet camera recommendations please

It's finally arrived. :) First impressions taking it out of the box are very positive. It's currently charging up, before I have a play with it.

Sorry to hear that TK. :( Irrelevant of make, the switch to tubeless is well worth it. If you also have the Swiss DT rims, I'd recommend sticking with Swiss DT tubeless valves. I'm down your way at a wedding towards the end of April. If I can swing it, and you are fit enough, we will have to...

    Going tubeless

After today, http://www.pedelecs.co.uk/forum/threads/how-many-people-are-using-there-e-bike-off-road.15780/page-21#post-249975 I can't recommend it enough. After much research and shall I shan't I, I recently made the switch from tube to tubeless. Over the last few weeks, the lad that I have...

A working dongle - at last

How do you get 2 yrs 3000miles out of a set of tyres? Even with swapping back to front, I'm lucky to get six months out of a set of tyres, which makes the going hard and balling comment in relation to Stans, quite irrelevant, as it would to anyone who rides off road. I can't imagine any person...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

25.5 miles of misery today. The day started well, bright sunshine, and the 18 miles to start the ride was hassle free. First hiccup, I open the van door, and no battery! I wasn't going to bother after this, but decided that the day was too nice not to. The ride started well, with frozen ground...

Difference between the UK and Switzerland,

Taken at Interlaken Aug 2014. I rather liked this one. 3,199.00ch for the Bionx bike. 4,499.00ch for the Bosch with frame mount battery, and 3,499.00ch for the bike on the end rack mounted battery.. I think that these were hire bikes. Two registered bikes. Kind of goes back to...

Statement from Bosch in relation to Classic line motors

Sorry phill, I hadn't spotted that you had your bike listed at the bottom of your posts. I can see that it doesn't now. I was going to suggest the slippage could have been the rear hub, had you had a DD3 fitted.

Do you happen to have an SRAM DD3 rear hub on the bike?

    KTM Corner

From reading the review, it appears that KTM have addressed the concerns over the front forks, as the bike now looks to be fitted with the consistently reliable Rockshox XC32. The change of fork spec and the new Panasonic Akku 47v/12Ah = 562Wh battery pack, should make for a good, fun to ride...

    And the kitchen sink

I did wonder that after writing it all out. Just weighed it all including the Camel Bak, and it comes to 1.6kg. That excludes any water though. Being truthful it seemed like a good idea at the time, but as you have indicated, I think that it is actually quite an ineffectual place to put it...

    And the kitchen sink

Whilst out on the ride last night with the lad that I have recently started to ride with, we got talking about what spares etc that we each carry, and it turned out that we think along the same lines. I've long been conscious of the fact that my night time riding often takes me to places where...

    Helmet camera recommendations please

If it ever arrives, I'll let you know. :( Taking recommendation from Techmoan I ordered it via Fox Offer, and I'm still waiting. Not exactly fast efficient service, that's for sure. For some stupid reason, it never occurred to me to look to see where the company was based, and just assumed...
