How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

Overkill is good. :D Actually I a few things/trips planned, so hopefully I have made the right choice. A friend in Germany sourced them for me, but I think that Tredz sell them as does bike-discount Because the BH is still off road, I fitted them to my old Marin Palisade and went for a...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

Thanks Dave, It has taken me a long time to decide upon which type of tyre to buy, but in the end I decided that the Ice Spiker was going to suit my needs, Subject of course to actually getting any snow. I found this video to be the most helpful one that I came across on the subject...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

I'm already fed up of being without the bike, but on a positive note these arrived today. :) I might well fit them to the 'normal' MTB tomorrow and get the 25 mile running in done.

    Side swipped by a van.

I'd have done just the same.

    Side swipped by a van.

Not trying to sound negative here, but undertaking the blue car, then swerving back out in front of it into the right hand turn lane, then cutting back in again perhaps wasn't the best of manoeuvres to have carried if you do intend to take this to the police. Off topic...Out of interest what...

    BH Emotion serious problems

Sadly it is rust. I wash, clean and dry the bike thoroughly each time that I venture off road, and even coat the bike in ACF50 including a wipe on wipe off of the fork tubes. This rust appeared the day after the one occasion that I didn't. There doesn't appear to be much if any chrome on the...

    BH Emotion serious problems

I had the bearing issue on my BH NEO Xtrem after 100miles of use, which was sorted quickly after I complained the importer. The dealer was dragging his heals. The captive frame nuts used to secure a rear rack also just spin inside of the frame, but I cured that one myself. I'm now just hoping...

    Mudguards for MTBs & Full-sus

Cyclezee, that bike is far to clean. I might have to take one of your bikes out for a demo on the mud sometime. If I was looking for an MTB e-bike again, without question I'd opt for mid drive, purely for the fact that rear wheel removal is far less hassle. This wasn't something that I had...

Thanks David, but I think I'll pass on that one. :) I'd still rather have a Conway E-Rider Extreme. :)

Now now, is this a good thing or a bad thing?

Who is expected to hire these bikes? Despite only living 40miles away, I have only ever been to London once, and if I ever happen to go there again, I'd just buy a tube or bus pass for the day. I would imagine that public transport would offer more scope and freedom than pedalling around an...

    Building a Cruiser

For a split second I thought that you had bought this bike that was on Ebay a short time ago. Sadly I was outbid. :( Looking forward to this build, as that was pretty much exactly what I had intended to do.

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

I did a quick 16 miles tonight in the dark, both on and off road, but my saddle bag somehow managed to come open, and I have now lost all of my bike tools. :( I wouldn't stand a chance of ever finding them, as the ride was so wet and muddy, that I took all sorts of lines and 'off' trail routes...

Anyone know if Lee Piercy is going to be there with the Voltz E-Trail? I missed it at Birmingham, but wouldn't mind taking a look at the bike now that it's a bit closer.

    BH Emotion serious problems

The shop that sold me my Neo Xtrem had another Neo Xtrem in for a service when I went in there a month or so back. The first thing that I spotted were heavy duty stainless rear wheel spokes. Apparently like you and your Neo Cross, his spokes kept breaking. In the shops and BH's defence...
