    My favourite two bikes

Yamdude, I might well appreciate this photo from my old shed/workshop. And a few more of my other Yamaha race bikes. This one is now in Italy. This one is now owned by Meadspeed.

    My favourite two bikes

If I'm only allowed to choose two, then it would be these. My old 3AK TZ250 race bike And my old Honda RS250 race bike. Both happy and very very sad days. There are many more equally as nice bikes that I have owned and ridden, but the RS has to be the best of the lot.

Moustache eBikes - What do you think?

That bike fits in very well with a business venture that I was discussing with someone today. Added to my favourites list. :) Do they also happen to make a trike version?

Moustache eBikes - What do you think?

For that money, I'd opt for a Conway E-Rider. :) Hi Maintenance, but damn I'd like one. :)

Moustache eBikes - What do you think?

Out of interest, what am I missing in relation to the quality. Taking the Samedi 26-10S for example, the forks are good, and leaving the electrical items aside, the rest of the components are just 'base spec' stuff that can be bought for next to nothing. After buying the BH without first...

How much are they? Edit... Found the costs.

New ebike magazine coming out on 23rd September

That was a lot of adverts and not much else.

ACF-50 or GT85, too good to be true?

It has to be said that GT85 is worth buying just for the smell. Very clever bit of marketing there. :) Interestingly GT85 has just managed to free off and lubricate a tool of mine at work that no other proprietary oil has been able to touch. I've been trying to free it off for the best part...

Over 2,800 test rides at the Gadget Show Live

Shame that the Riese and Muller BlueLABEL Charger doesn't come fitted with rigid front forks as stand, or an option of. Still a very nice looking and clean/simplistic styled bike though. :)

    BH Emotion serious problems

I dealt with Andy M when I had the rear wheel bearing issue, and have to say that he couldn't had been more helpful. :) I'm now getting confused about who is who and doing what.

    BH Emotion serious problems

Up until recently I had in mind to buy a Neo Race springtime next year. That now won't be happening. Not because I don't like the bike, I just don't see the point of buying one if there is no back up when things inevitably go wrong. Like you I shall either be making my own, or searching...

ACF-50 or GT85, too good to be true?

Close. :) It was £5.49 from Chainreaction when I did a Google searched for it. Shimano HG40

ACF-50 or GT85, too good to be true?

I use a dry lube in the summer, and a wet one in the winter. I was still surprised to have only got 500miles out of the chain on the BH though. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but it was more than that.

    BH Emotion serious problems

I was thinking about this very thing late last night as you do, and worked out that with the fork issue and the rear wheel bearing failure, the bike has been off the road for one month out of my four month ownership period. 25% of down time is very high by anyone's standard. I guess that BH...

    BH Emotion serious problems

They certainly don't do themselves any favours when it comes to customer support, which is very short sighted of them given that most people probably Google a product before they buy.

    BH Emotion serious problems

David, your warranty and back up is certainly better than that offered by BH. They knew about the issue with my front forks 3wks ago when the dealer emailed them photos, and I'm still without a bike while I wait for them to sort it. This is in no way the fault of the dealer, but importer and BH...

ACF-50 or GT85, too good to be true?

I use both and have done for many years. ACF50 is a bit of an odd one, as it seems to work okay both the cycle and motorbike, but doesn't even last a weekend on my carpentry tools. Tri-Flow with Teflon is superior to both.

    MapMyRide

On Strava you don't need to put the type of bike. You can add details of your personal weight and the weight of the bike if you so desire. I had a couple of my rides flagged, so now just use the private feature so the rides aren't logged as part of the public profile. I'm only interested in...

how easy is it to make an E bike out of a conversion kit?

My brother-in-law has just had a cycle stolen from Cardiff railway station, and it even had two £50.00 locks fitted! I have no idea what he secured it too, but the locks were worth more than the bike. There is some worthless scum out there. :( I'm only assuming that my bike is covered on...
