I think it probably is this retaining nut thats loose, turning the bike upside down can see the two retaining dogs you mention, they move about in the frame slots and the motor is quite loose to the frame.

    Woosh Crank Noises

While I like my new Woosh CD Sport, I am having some concerns with the components. I have noticed when pressure is applied to the pedals there is a definate creaking sound, at first I ignored it as I just thought it a gear problem, or just something catching on the M.guards, Gears adjusted ok...

Looked at a few videos on You Tube, and gears working fine now, plus altered the way I ride it, and battery life looks like it maybe a little better. Having a few doubts on Woosh compoments though..I have a feeling something is amis in the pedel area. Will open new thread for help.

    Woosh Battery

You could be right about the way I ride it, I shall try using the gears differently, oh and re the gears is there a method in adjusting them, sometimes changing can be a bit hit and miss, usually changing up, the chain can be a bit reluctant to move to a bigger cog, you have to select the gear...

I must say that while I am now more than happy riding my Woosh CD Sport, having upgraded the brakes, fitted mudguards and replaced the handle bars. I am not so happy with the battery life though, I reckon I am only getting about 15 - 18 miles out of a charge, No I dont use the motor on high...

I have listened, and have lifted the seat and ajusted the handlebars to near enough what is recommended in the Sheldon comment, and yes its easier to pedel than before, I would never have bothered altering it if I hadnt had the meeting with the local cycle group. I like the bike and from now on...

Yes it is, not going diwn the old bike route, I did own a used Juicy Sport for a while till our house was broken into and the bastards left with the bike. I was ok on the Juicy, with seat set low. I'm happy on the Woish, just this cycling group today kept telling me the bike seat height was...

    seat height.

Ok..I will compromise a bit and raise the saddle so I can just touch the ground with my foot while seated. I did ride it with the saddle set high when I first had the bike, it was ok on the move, but not in stop start traffic, thats why I lowered it, plus i found it much easier to mount and...
