    Punctures !!!!

Thanks for your reply Dan. 18 months is long enough to make an informed opinion :) Useful tip re tapering the ends, so will have a look at doing that before I do many more miles. Cheers, Mark :)

    Punctures !!!!

What problems have you had with them D8veh, and others? The reason I ask is because I recently came across a pair for nothing & have fitted them in 2 of my rear motor ebikes, though haven't yet done enough miles on either to properly evaluate them. Time will tell... Regards, Mark

Hi I'm Rob, I live near Stafford in England but I also live part of the year in Lanzarote

Yes it was a direct fit, though always check the polarity 1st, as explained earlier in this thread. The Bafang motor fitted to power pluses seems to be able to handle the extra voltage no problem. Mine doesn't even get particularly warm. As far as performance goes, I get about 24mph on the...

Hi I'm Rob, I live near Stafford in England but I also live part of the year in Lanzarote

I've been running a cyclamatic power plus at 36v for several months & several hundred miles, using a stock controller, with no problems at all. Mark

Hi I'm Rob, I live near Stafford in England but I also live part of the year in Lanzarote

Hi & welcome to the forum. As D8veh says it is easy to change the polarity of the connections, tho I'd think a tad longer than 5mins :) It is a 24v battery, not a 12v, Fish type. You can check the polarity of the original by switching it on & putting a DVM across the output terminals on the...

    Izip motor wanted please

Update : Received the motor & controller etc on Monday, bench tested it & all seemed fine :) Finally got round to fitting it (just the motor so far ) & taking it round the block a few times, & it works a treat. Can't thank you enough, Andy, for taking the time & trouble to reply & send it to...

    Spokes from eBay

Hi D8veh, He suggested I get a new vernier! & sent a picture of his digital one measuring one of the spokes, showing 1.97mm. As we all know you can zero them to show any measurement you want. Mine is an old fashioned sliding scale one, & when I got some spokes from a different seller they were...

    Spokes from eBay

Hi all. Just a heads up for anyone buying spokes. I recently bought some spokes from this seller: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/252078994078 Long story short, they measured 1.7mm not 2mm as stated. & the sellers attitude stank throughout the process of trying to get a refund, & ended up having to...

    EBC 250W FWD Woes

Ok. You could, I think, use 3off 12v bulbs wired in series to partly discharge the battery down to closer to 36v ,so that the controller recognises the correct system voltage. Mark
