electric car..anyone got one of these

I think folks often miss the point of the electric\hybrid cars. They use no fuel at low town speeds. So they are great for flat congested areas. If yoru a commuter driver crawling at ~20mph thru town every day then they are great. Fuel efficient cars are good at 'general use.' So its horses...

    Camper Trailer

Just some feedback as someone whos done festivals and camping touring by bike in the UK. I can buy an amazing very very very light 2-3 man tent for £200 or a functional pop up tent for £40. I can buy a good very mobile trailer for £129. I'd then have two things which i can use for different...

    Why can't we......

all electric bikes are ugly......(yes even my much loved Agattu, although i do admire its rugged germanic capability) The dutchy stylee ones are nicer but still arent pretty. Although I swear thats why the sparta is soooo popular. Lets face it we'll never make a good electric bike that...

Woods / Dunlop tire valves HELP!!!

oh dear. Right the pump you have wont work on woods valves. You need either new inner tubes or get an adaptor like this: I'd also suggest you get some bike training and a good book on basic bike maintenance.

    Electric Biking over winter

See this year has been bad. Normal years it never rains on me when i'm riding. God, i assumed loves cyclists. This year its done what Rad said. Its also my first year on the pedelec. Does God not like pedelecs?

    Kalkhoff Owners Forum

The owners forum will have a potentially different user base and serve a different purpose. Agree with FLecc though that very few product forums actually get enough usage to be useful, but we'll see. I'll probably pop into it.

    "Electric, That's Cheating!"

Great isnt it! Of course the key thing is to make that effort while looking completly nonchalent.

    "Electric, That's Cheating!"

er the great commuter race? I could tell you about it but the first rule of RaceClub is, you do not talk about Race Club. If you are interested check out the longest forum thread in the world on bike radar.....

    Agattu suspension forks...

I read that leaflet and thought it sounded insane. My plan is to leave them to rot and then to replace them. Either with solid forks or forks that can lock out.

Blown Rear Light on Kalkoff pro Connect AGAIN

I think there are 4 of us on this forum who have had problems with Agattu lights, with them going on and off. All wiring\shorting related. It doesnt appear to be an assembly issue they just seem fragile in their design. I'm very unimpressed with the light set (Its still a great bike), but...

Thanks to this website I completed a MTB Marathon today.

Congratulations! Thats great that the ebike gave you the in! PS In defence of Dietitians (note the Uk spelling), its highly unlikely they'll ever speak to someone like SEATALTEA. And if they did they say good choice, that pretty close to my wifes touring cycling diet. The wife being a...

another mag than A to B

Thats interesting feedback. I'd always fancied it but was put off by bike fetishism eg recumbents and trikes etc. A2B of old was bang on the money. Trains, folders, pededelecs and other useful well a2bey stuff. The alternative energy scene is not my cup of tea. I still love it but.... I...

    Got myself a Kalkhoff

Hi Fecn, Good job on the lights! I'll fiddle around with it. I use the hamaxplus system. There is a review on my blog: Hamaxplus review Follow up As a system it does work well. The copilot is probably the best child seat , mostly because its free standing off the bike with child in...

    Got myself a Kalkhoff

Hi fecn welcome to the Agattu club! I'm suffering intermittent behaviour between front and back light. eg Front standlight sometimes works and sometimes doesnt. The rear light frequently goes out. I've opened them up and re-attached connectors, but not seen anything obvious. Its a shame...

Slipping Chain on my Agattu. Any words of wisdom?

Hi, After 6 months, the chain has started slipping on my agattu and has come off a couple of times. I've never had this happen on a bike before so i've no idea what to do. I've checked the teeth of the cogs and they all look intact. The chain looks distinctly baggy. Any ideas or...

Long and rambling 4 day Agattu review

Always nice to hear other folk loving the bike. I liked your rambling description, it portrayed facts and emotion rather well. The heavyweight agattu is great in high winds and poor roads, so good choice! I'll echo musicbooks warning on the stand. Mine broke too. This isnt 50cycles fault its...
