More ebike sellers and more ebikes on the market, means more competition..... and thats always good for the buyer. But its still a niche market and they're mostly still too expensive..... got a long way to go yet before ebikes appeal to the masses in this country.

Another rail footbridge that causes me probs getting over with my Ebike.... although I dont have much of a detour to avoid this one.

The bridge is worse than it looks in the pic...... I've tried using the throttle to walk the bike up the steps, but its too steep and the steps are too big. There really isn't any other way than to carry the bike up. Its a killer. The detour is a long way round, but its worth it.

To get to a canal path i like to ride, a shortcut would be to go over this rail bridge that goes over a river.... Its so steep and such a bstard to carry my bike up the steps & over, that i mostly go a long way round to avoid it

I'll be interested myself to see what this Cytronex lightweight kit will be like..... but judging from their ready made Ebikes, i bet it'll be well overpriced. Hopefully more of these lightweight kits will become available, as they're quite rare at the moment.

I get the impression, from this forum mainly, that hub motors are far more reliable than crank drive ones.... and some crank drives like the Kalkhoff one seems to be downright unreliable. Very rarely do i seem to see problems with hub motors on here.

Good choice.... The CG125 has always had a great reputation. You wont go far wrong with that...... and if you ever want to sell it you'll have no probs getting a good price, they are sought after bikes for learners.

No they shouldn't be banned just because they're 70. That would never happen, there would be an outcry. But they should be retested. I've seen some shocking driving by the aged. Failing eyesight, failing cognitive skills and not judging speed of other vehicles can make some elderly drivers...

My motor cuts at 15, i can pedal to about 20 on the flat but i cant keep that going for long. I feel 15 mph cut out is too slow, i'd like 20 as a happy medium for speed V range...... probably will have 20 on my next kit

I can be driving down lane 1 and getting closer & closer to a slower driver sitting in lane 2.... so when i reach them, i have to pull out into lane 2, then lane 3 to overtake them. As i pass i usually give them some sort of sign of what i think of them..... many times these people will look at...

When riding my motorcycle, i avoid motorways as much as possible.... not only are they boring as f***, but they square my tyres as well.

Its the continual use of calling motorway lanes 'the slow lane' and 'the fast lane' that makes some people ignorant of how motorway lanes should be used. I've actually heard some of these people talking about fast & slow lanes in a literal sense. Like.... "I'm going too fast to be in the slow...

A few years back, the police were given powers to fine drivers for lane hogging in lanes 2 & 3. I was all for it. Has anyone ever been fined ? ..... it doesn't seem to be enforced at all !

Well i live in the south west, just off the M5, we can have horrendous congestion down here, especially in holiday season.... but its not always like that. Then i can drive to the usual motorways rules fine.... others simply cant or wont comprehend these simple rules of lane 1, 2 & 3.

Yup true..... we just have to put up with it. Our roads are so congested there's not much we can do about it. Working as a trucker most of my life, i could write a book about what other drivers do that have wound me up..... but whats the point. No one cares and everyone thinks they're a perfect...

Congestion doesn't matter, the rules of motorways are still the same. If you cant move over to lane 1, then obviously you're not going to if something is there. But you should return to lane 1 whenever its appropriate. Some people cant be bothered, because they think they'll have to move out...

I get fed up with people that dont understand motorways.... There is no such thing as a slow lane, or a fast lane. There are lanes 1,2 & 3.... lanes 2 & 3 are overtaking lanes, nothing more.

Indeed.... its utterly despicable the way this government has heaped the burden of austerity on to the least well off. Its no wonder given the chance to stick to the establishment, these voters were going to jump at it. Like this guy, of which there are many like him...
