    Tannus tyres

I'm quite intrigued by these and would be interested to know how you get on with them. I would be prepared to sacrifice a bit of comfort to get a puncture free cycling life, not to mention never having to carry a repair kit, tubes and the associated tools. With the hassle of a puncture with a...

    Advice Required

If Halfords were selling that Carrera Crossfire E a couple of years ago, i would have bought that, instead of doing a conversion on my Carrera Crossfire 1. Not bad spec, hydraulic brakes and looks real good.

    Gsm vs bbs01

Ok, thx. Still not sure about doing a conversion with this CD motor, but good to know i can change the chainwheel on them. They're $16 on there, although they jump from 48T to 52T.... 50T would have been preferable for me.

    Gsm vs bbs01

Can you change the chainwheel on these GSM CD's ? 46T is too low geared for me.

    Krieger vs Zephyr-B

Of course it was to do with her..... someone insinuated that the OP of this thread wasn't just an interested potential customer, but was in fact someone from Woosh or even Hatti herself just to highlight 2 of Woosh's products.

    Krieger vs Zephyr-B

Why would i want to PM the OP ? It was pretty clear i thought, that i A) Just wondered why you took so long to post on this thread..... and B) Didn't think you'd have any reason to spam. Maybe you should direct your posts to the person that originally insinuated that the OP of this thread was in...

    Krieger vs Zephyr-B

Seeing as this thread and the original suspicions of spam posting, was started 9 days ago, i find it hard to believe that someone from Woosh haven't seen this thread. If it were my company and it was innocent of spamming, i would certainly be on here to deny it. Also, i thought Woosh, along...

    Krieger vs Zephyr-B

Rather surprised Hatti hasn't come on this thread, to strenuously deny this is self promo spam on the part of Woosh. I thought she posted on these boards ?

Lightweight Ebike for on road only

Ah, i stand corrected about a throttle with a CD motor then. If i change my mind about a build i'll take another look at that BBS01 CD. Thanks.

Lightweight Ebike for on road only

Just googled it to check it out..... unfortunately battery isn't big enough and at over £3K its way too much coin for me.

Lightweight Ebike for on road only

Interesting thread and the bike looks great..... but i didn't really want to go down the route of a kit build again. Also i need a throttle so its going to have to be a hub motor, i also want the battery in the frame and not over the back wheel. Although i may change my mind on not building if i...

Lightweight Ebike for on road only

Would definitely like to read your build thread...... unfortunately you've linked to an electric bike gathering thread there

Lightweight Ebike for on road only

Did d8veh start a thread on here about this Boardman bike & Oxygen kit conversion ? I'd quite like to read it.

Lightweight Ebike for on road only

Had my Carrera hybrid, with an e kit fitted for a couple of years now and I've been pretty happy with it. But I've decided to get another Ebike and a ready made one. As I shall keep the Carrera for canal paths, cycle tracks and general shopping trips to town...... I thought I would get an Ebike...

    And another which one..sorry :)

I fitted an 8fun kit to a Carrera Crossfire about 2 years ago.... and I'm still using it. Although it was a front hub motor and I didn't have brake discs to deal with. The bike and the kit have been totally reliable to date.

Will the end of full speed throttles in January 2016 cause a rush to buy.

Throttles, in no small part due to the fact i've rode motorcycles most of my life, i like a throttle on an ebike. I feel more in control and sometimes due to my disability i dont want to pedal at all. If the throttle is removed from all ebikes sold in the UK, it will probably make me lose...

New rider . Advice please on kit .

I went the other way and only installed the thumb throttle and left out the pedelec as it suited me better. I've never felt the need the need to fit the pedelec even though i have it. Other places do kits like Woosh & 8fun & others etc. So why are you only looking at the Cyclotricity kits ?
  19. Yamdude

    cyclotricity stealth gears upgrade.

I went the other way...... Had 21 gears on my hybrid, but after fitting an ebike kit to it I've only ever needed 7 gears. So I removed the front derailier and the chain just gets left on the big 48T chainring.

hello from West Lancs...This bike look good to you?

Looks a good deal that Mosso bike...... more dealers should import ebikes of that spec and bang em out at a similar price. It would go some way to get more people buying ebikes.
