    I need a bike shed!

Any lock is better than none. Delaying the thief as long as possible is the goal, in effect putting them off trying to steal in the first place. My house was burgled 2 years ago having no/little security, not nice feeling. we now have cctv, alarms, fake tv light, auto lighting inside, 8...

News: NEC Cycle Show: 22nd to 24th September

i i honestly think i would send an extract from this forum with d8veh permission to Bosch customer service, stating what you have said here. I used to let this kind of thing go, but surely even Bosch want friendly, helpful smiling faces on their stand. If no-one says anything, Bosch will never...

    Bosch performance cx/ purion problem?

I think that's the way I'd go, other than checking connections in motor, remove case its easy. Its always a risk buying secondhand, makes you think was bike playing up before he sold it hmmmm.

    Pedal vibration at speed

Mi mate, I'm using the Haibike sprocket, so thats ok. Bearings seem fine, no play and feel/sound fine. Agree about ses wheel, but stripped down and again no play, bearings sound good, teeth seem ok. I've ordered new chain and cassette, as cassette is a year old and i've done about 3k this...

    Pedal vibration at speed

Arghhh, another problem. Went out last night and when pedalling at speed 25-27mph (with speed dongles assistance) i felt some vibration through pedals. Tested today and really not sure if its just around this speed as when you accelerate to 28 mph plus it seems to disappear, but this could just...

Rides illegal machine - kills pedestrian & blames her........

"of course he has remorse", really (deep regret and guilt). Not from what I saw or what had been reported, so I think your making assumptions and being argumentative for the sake of it;). Anyway, there's a bigger picture here and I think the laws needs to be improved. I'm fed up seeing...

    Haibike quality issue

One of the first things I did with my bike was sell the cheap wheels. Bought dt swiss 240hubs etc, good quality and easy to service.

Rides illegal machine - kills pedestrian & blames her........

As I said, he showed no remorse which would have added to his sentence. Total idiot, and I'm being kind to ride without brakes.

    New Bike Charging Question

As I ride my bike about 3 times a week I keep it fully charged. In winter, I agree, it sits at about 60%.

Rides illegal machine - kills pedestrian & blames her........

I hear both sides of the argument. In reality, whether we like it or not this is an example being made to let other cyclists know that cycling dangerously is unacceptable. He was cycling in a dangerous manner, being very irresponsible and a significant threat to others. Not to mention, the fact...

    Noisy bike...

Not helpful, but a case of test and trial I'm afraid. Mine ended up being carbon seat post, but I swore blind noise was from crank.

    Shimano Support (Lack Of)

No idea about button, but search google to see if others have had issue as more evidence for you. Surprised at Shimano as normally very good. I would go back to the dealer and say that you didn't break and you want shimano to show good will and replace, if not you will highlight their poor...
