    New Bike Charging Question

My understanding has always been to charge up to 100% after every ride. So far no issues. Info was from ebikeshop.co.uk

Rides illegal machine - kills pedestrian & blames her........

18 months under current law is I suppose all they could do him for, but no real justice for family. Sad to say, but the best way to kill someone and have a reduced sentence is using a car. My neighbour was jogging across a road when lights were clearly red. This didn't stop a car trying to run...

Just been shopping! Cube Reaction Race 500

If OH is on a racer, do you have dongle fitted as will be hard to push past 15mph on flat without. With dongle, a decent cyclist can cruise at 25mph.

    2018 Bosch Drive Units Differences?

If your buying your first e-bike, no problem, but if you have a 2016 Bosch model there's little difference to persuade me to buy a 2018 model. New battery, same performance, heavier but better integrated in downtube. Motor, same size, power, but bigger chainwheel / direct drive. Might be wrong...

    Bosch - New eMtb mode

Much better for all, if we keep this forum friendly. We all have different preferences to different things. I'm not agreeing with one above the other. Some will like the emtb mode and some won't. I fall into the later, but lets be clear here this is an upgrade, but an update and these can...

    Good mudguards, essential.

Mudguards!!! grrrr and how to ruin a bike. Will no one learn you still get wet, muddy and it takes so much longer to clean bike along with damage mudguards can cause to frame. Honestly, i give up :(

God i love these comparisons, not! I know its only a bit of fun, but please i thought i left strava etc behind grrr. A Plus Sized Headache!

Great tyre, I ran them for over a year no punctures 3000 miles. Only problem was winter and lack of tread for off road stuff.

    Bosch derestriction

Prefer dongle hidden away inside motor case, giving correct speed reading.

    Chain jumping/slipping under load

I had same problem, frustrating that when you put power down there would be slippage. I ended up changing the chain and cassette which solved the problem. These bikes can put down (with your help) a lot of power and faster, so its inevitable that it will need more regular maintenance than a...

Bosch eBike Diagnostic Software for sale

Don't blame Bosch for protecting their investment hardware, but not sure we should kid ourselves that this software update business is any different or technical to updating your Garmin you plug into your pc. Bosch have to make process easy for dealers/ users of all different abilities.

eMTB owners photo and ride thread.

Had Magicshine, Dinotte, etc etc. Hate the additional battery and some quality issues (not with Dinotte), so went with the British Exposure brand. Bought the joystick for helmet, toro for front and blaze for rear. Couldn't be happier, no battery to worry about genuine lumens stated, great...
