    Brexit, for once some facts.

Part of Labour's problem has been not to endorse and utilise Campbell. He is a pariah to the left, and it has been to their cost. Love him or hate him he knows his stuff and is on a personal level a genuine and sincere bloke. He has had his issues and had Corbyn had sense to utilise Campbell he...

Michael Heseltine is arguing "rejoin" will be dead for 20 years. I suspect it will all depend what happens over next 5...??Seems a bit pointless at moment.

I agree with both comments but so what if Boris is derailed. He and Cummings will just put train back on rails and carry on. Your comment labour is neutered suggests same.

If Boris spends on NHS and keeps all his election promises (if) surely thats socialism. Vasey was saying on tele tonight BJ is left of centre in someways. Like I said earlier what we call it is irrelevant, its what happens. Its not the total number of voters BJ has attracted, its their previous...

I thought exactly same. Took wife 4 years to get me on one. Was amazed, brilliant, I never once had to mix with anyone. Cruised all night, new Island every morning. Explore it during day. Table for 2 for dinner. My perfect holiday. No social interaction with any arseholes, wife did, with me...

If Labour hierarchy dont wake up to this they will become an irrelevance. There was a young lady on tele, quit from being labour back bencher last year. Missed her name, but she was saying exactly this and that hierarchy had lost contact with her own community. She should have stayed and...

Think our regional argument is silly, ok I might have started it, with the silver lining post, but its like a kidney getting jealous of the lung for the amount of blood its using. All body parts need blood, all regions need investment and care. I suspect the north has had less of both but I live...

Thats easy. You and me alike are too old and bad risks now. No chance of getting insurance to pay for care, but my daughters and grand kids should take it out if it becomes possible. We, re fecked now OG. Just waiting for judgement day but hopefully enjoying the ride if possible. As for paying...

The slide is irrelevant. Its his number surplus to all combined opposition. (mathematically) That is 80.For various reasons this is not the figure available to him, but its the number used historically to show strength of government. Compared to May and pre election numbers he is very strong...

Without the industries mentioned there would have been no London to change. For centuries the wealth of country relied on filth dug from ground and made into stuff. London developed from selling organizing, distributing and services like insurance for those industries miles away. Country to this...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Do you mean your London built on the exploit of Northern miners, steel workers and car builders. Without the now redundant mines, steel works and factories up north there would be no London as we know it today. We have more than our fair share of poverty. Time we looked on the country as a...

In reality does it matter what we call the party or where it stands on our outdated political spectrum if that office gives people a fairer deal. I dont care if its Tory, Torylite, red, white pink or blue if it funds NHS, gets homeless off streets, spends on education and pays decent wages to...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

I sort of agree with this but with a caveat. Over the years there has been a drift away from our probably now outdated party politics. There are leavers and remainers in both Tory and Labour. There are other divisions grouping people, probably its time recognise this. I never thought I, d ever...

Another silver lining is that our current government is probably the least London centric we, ve had for decades. Northern towns/Cities might just get a look in now, seen as they put Boris in power.

I dont agree. There is loads of support for a centrist party in England. We just don't have one. All those voters BJ has just attracted are proof. The old working class dogma of hating all Tories is gone. (except in Hull) Either Labour change and utilises that group or they remain supporting Tory.
