    Battery charging

I think you'd stugfle to use it to charge a lithium battery for an bike unless you could break the battery up. Wither way it will be difficult. As a general charger it will work up to about 25v at a variable amperage. The charger for the ebike will be a constant current constant voltage...

    Battery charging

Hello, You need to explain exactly what you are trying to achieve. The eBay advert is a dedicated smart charger with it's own power supply. Meaning it pretty much charges most battery chemistries in the Market and usually up to 6 cells in series by means of balance charging. There useful bits...

Commuting O trails as quick as I can to work = Full Face Helmet Leisure riding or unassisted riding = Specialized Aurora Pottering round town or to the shops = No helmet I like all wears, but find I'm more confident when I have the protection.

Article - How ‘e-bikes’ are changing the way we commute

Couldn't care less, it's positive reinforcement for ebikes. Good press if you ask me.

Other Cyclists. Where have all the manners gone?

I get quite the opposite. But we are far and few between round Birmingham. I have noticed more coming out the woodwork as the weather is not more acceptable. There's a couple hard core riders that use MTB to commute on. They are slow. But determined. They always wave. one very determined...

Hard front fork on Kudos Eco.

I love the single speed or fixie with one front caliper brake and nothing else. No gears, no complecations, super light with a rigid bike frame and large thin wheels. Its much easier to throw about and get up to speed. Really awesome for riding in the city with and its just simple...

    Two Batterys

The two chemistries have slightly different discharge voltages. Ideally if your doing this yourself without any form of protection for each battery unit it should be the same chemistry and voltage. The amp hr capacity does not matter. Also, They need to be charged and dischargeed at the...

    Good metal worker in london?

More volts in essense makes the throttle sensitive. My throttle can make me roll along nicely at 5mph. Easy enough. But if I twist it the slightest bit more it dumps 30amps In one hit from the battery. Or 70amp per phase causing the bike to go for it. My setup in a small wheel at those volts...

Hard front fork on Kudos Eco.

Suspension Tech has come along way I think in most designs on bikes and even though I only have a budget Manitou fork its miles better than anything i've had previously in the past. An its still considered to be pants. You can get some decent fork quite cheaply now and second hand for...

Hard front fork on Kudos Eco.

Also you can change the front forks and its a pretty easy task. With threadless headsets being the modern use its a cash of fitting a crown race and cutting the stem to fit the desired length of your frame / height. I fitted new forks not lon ago and used a pipe cutter to trim it to fit...

    Good metal worker in london?

Really? Whats the basis of this larger wheels are better for straight line stability. Smaller wheels give better turn in ability. Look at motorbikes. They change profiles and sizes by an inch in racing to get the better handlnig and straight line performance on desired tracks.

    Good metal worker in london?

Captain Chaos Cwah! 30mph on this... I'd suggest a full face helmet and some body armor. First corner you power out off your going to be on your bum unless you put the batteries at the front of the bike. At 66v and 30amp my bike wheelies and thats running 700c wheels in a hardtail...

    Good metal worker in london?

I can't see John struggling with this at all to be honest. Even if he does use explosives ;-) This is the bonus I guess of the steel frames, much easier to manipulate it for modification. Even gives you a chance to rub the frame completly down and respray it. Really show that £200+ bike...

    Road rage

Sorry to hear about your experience. It's so bizarre that normal people with everyday jobs become complete nob heads when driving it's so strange that people don't relax. If it's one thing I've learnt it's to relax a little whilst cycling and enjoy the travel than stress myself out by it...

Cyclamatic: The Beastamatic is dead! Long live the Beastamatic

There's a couple of suppliers on this very forum that do batteries around the £200 mark for Lifepo4. Doubt it would fit directly in the case but would require some tinkering on your behalf. Kudo's actually supplier 10ah 36v batteries...

Cyclamatic: The Beastamatic is dead! Long live the Beastamatic

Think i'd just opt for a 36v 10amp hour battery from a local UK supplier and then jam the cells into the old case. £200 all in and some tinkering.
