1300watt, must be a right little beast. Mines only hitting half of that and i already think thats loads or enough for a bike.
Guys on es that run 2500 peak out of the bikes must be like motor bikes but more scarey! Most motor bikes weigh in at 120kg+
If anything its made of appriciate the...
Managed to fix the battery. The wiring appears to be find at 20amp running through it. Battery must have had a loose connection and the fuse was blown. Replaced them put some thicker guage wires in the battery and more solder on the connections.
Anyway took the bike out down the canals...
I've had the same problem d8veh with the free wheel gears where by i.ve had to get some washers as the cassette was to long. Like you said though easy fix with the correct washers.
Its a very substantial motor which has turned the bike from assist to not requiring rider input. Its louder than...
From info on the endless sphere forum...
Code 10 is 310 rpm
Code 11 is 285 rpm
Code 15 is 206 rpm
So my guess is its around the 250 mark.
This is all from a 36v input. Obviously you can over volt etc to get more out of it.
Evening All,
Been monkeying about on my BPM Build this afternoon. Anyway its virtually complete now.
Rear 36v Bafang BPM 350w (Code 12) - Laced into a 700c wheel
20amp controller
Controller is probably a bit to high for my battery (Only being 9ah rated at a max 2c).
Although I like...
It was the white one in the end. Not got a meter. Going to get one tomorrow as well as a soldering iron. Probably should get all these things if i'm going to monkey about with builds.
Afternoon All,
Hope someone can quickly help me. Hoping that you may recognise the throttle and be able to tell me which wires do what.
Reason being this is a 6 pin connetor from throttle and all I need going to the next controller is the 3 pin following :-
5v
Ground
Signal
Thanks...
Picked up the kit this morning and tested it. Works with both my standard controller and new controller 20amp. Motor is the bpm in a 28 inch rim. Code 12.
Only problem i.ve had is getting the free wheel cassette off the old rear wheel. Ended up buying a locking tool from evans. Unfortunatly...
If you wanted a cheap kit think andy is selling a 350watt direct drive for a bargin price. That also has a delta and wye feature for low speed and high speed. If i would have seen it earlier i would have purchased before going down the china route.
Get to red light at speed... Jump off, Run, Jump back on.
You'd look like a nob head though.
:D
Or have some heely's trainers...
Cycle at speed, Jump off, Glide with your wheels in your shoes, jump back on.
Speaking for the younger generation.
I will be out tonight, hung over tomorrow watching the wedding then heading out in the afternoon for a BBQ.
I presume the majority will be doing similar!
Can you not just buy chain drive kits though?
The only thing I can really see the benifit of doing this is if you had a spare motor doing nothing.
Else your using a motor not intended or build for that purpose.
Also it would work better with a Direct drive as they have beeter cooling.
