    An E-Kit & A Giant CRS Alliance?

Oh yes forgot about the gearset cluster! You can retro fit a hyper / super glide hub to it though. But again your really heading down the route of alot of faffing and expense. You'd really be better off getting a cheaper made bike as generally becasue of the way electric power assist's you...

    BMS Battery, your eperience?

The website always over states the stock count. Its usually a 6 week waiting time from payment. Which from China is ok. An they air mail the products to you which isn't cheap. Could always ship by boat but you'd need to add on 12weeks ;-)

    An E-Kit & A Giant CRS Alliance?

It is a very nice bike. It seems a bit of a shame to add electric to though. As Flecc has explained if you do want to go down the kit route probably best to go for a rear motor.

    An E-Kit & A Giant CRS Alliance?

Simple answer will be yes. You can fit a kit to this bike. However making sure it has all the right mounting points for a rack etc make's life easier. You can fit kits to any bike. However having a bike that is commuter / rack / mudguards ready makes life alot easier to buying a kit and...

INFINEUM EXTREME LPX battery indicator help please

Battery indicator is probably not calibrated properly. You'll need to fully charge it and then use the bike to almost flat to discharge it a couple of times to condition the indicator.

    Bafang question

once you get to anything over 20mph it becomes hard to beat the wind resistance with your own pedalling unless you start using a race and lowring your own drag. YOur own pedalling will only add a few mph on top of the motor itself and weight. Current wind that I have is plenty quick at 20ish...

    Bafang Technical data

Taken from Endless sphere... Although torque figures look wrong. I think his times it by the internal gear ratio of 4.3. Basically it would be more realistic if you divide the torque figure by 4.3.

The Sunlova battery beat me! Woohoo!

When I checked my controller it was only a 6amp rated, 13amp max. @ 36v nominal input it could deliver a max of 468watt. So even when the controller is pulling maximum amount of amps for say a full journey (Which it wont) on throttle only on the standard 9ah battery (324watt) it should last...

    Bafang Technical data

Chainging the amount of winding's in general changes the RPM of the the motor. Maximum power however never changes. Just where in the RPM the max is made as such. All hub motors work on the same principle. Most companies you can specify the RPM or winding's or just a wheel size for a certain speed.

    Bafang question

A few of the forum members have the motors the bpm version is a a decent geared hub drive. Plenty of torque. Mine is a code 12 wind which allows up to 22mph in a 700c wheel. @ 48v it would be good eos about 28mph. Even with my standard battery it climbs hills very well and quickly using a 20th...

The Sunlova battery beat me! Woohoo!

The sunlova kit does push lots out the battery. Usually down to the controllers being on the small side but it does mean you get a decent range out the battery. GLad to your enjoying your kit.

    What about re-gutting batteries ?

I think prices are very good for batteries if you buy direct from China. In saying that most companies here in the UK that buy them from oversea's are hitting the Sub £200 for Lithium-Ion batterys and then at least your getting some kind of warrenty and back up. Thats for most 36v 10ah...

    Advice about conversion kits please

I used to let go of the throttle and shut down the pedelec sensor when travelling above the limit. I used to find that once they where off, ie clutch disengaged I could push another couple mph out of my own leg power and also coast faster. So I agree its similar to your experience. However, as...

Difference between suspension and no suspension...

Pretty much what Flecc said... Mine has developed that side to side wobble. About 5mm from it being center however I never notice it when riding. I must wriggle alot...

    Advice about conversion kits please

Oh no, there is definetly drag. There is no way I would question that it would have "No Drag". I'm relativly young at 26 but I notice it. Even more so when you go above the 15mph limit then it feels like your fighting the motor plus wind to get a higher top speed. I jsut feel there are...

    Advice about conversion kits please

there is some drag there but its not that painful. I mean i barely notice it being there. I'm more affected by the weight of the bike rather than motor drag. You should still roll for a good long while. Either way there's alot less drag than there direct drive cousin's! Its always going...

    Partial battery charging

Its all relative to application though really. Thats the one thing I've learnt about battery tech as it is with most things in life. You have to find the best compromise. Lithium battery's work great on ebikes becasue generally the small size, less weight and the amount of life they give...
