    Head gear

An Aldi or Lidl Snowboard helmet will do you nicely . They are very comfortable , have 8 vents and an Active ventilation slider on the top to control the air supply .Some on here worried that they might be too warm in Summer .Well I can reassure them that this is not the case as it`s Summer here...

How many women ride electric bikes.

I bought one for my Wife at vast expense , well £600 seeing as you ask and she refuses to ride it . She said I should have asked her first . Well it was a 70th birthday present , silly me .

Are you stylish enough for this ?

It looks like a Harley , probably costs the same as a Harley , therefore it must be a Harley- Davidson Electric Bike ?

Yet another female cyclist death in London

After a previous death in similar circumstances the victim`s Mother campaigned successfuly with the lorry`s operator to fit an extra mirror to give a wide angle view of this nasty blind spot . I still think that the Rider should not put themselves in such a dangerous position though .

    Tonaro owners unite !

I thought the Tonaro Owners were uniting to rebel against something .Like Johnny played by Marlon Brando in the 1953 Film `The Wild One `. He was asked what he was rebelling against and replied `what d`ya got `? I pictured Lynda leading the Tonaro Rebels terrorising the good Citizens of...

    Shed / Garage Alarm

After my present Alarm expired I scrolled down the Shed Alarms on Amazon and found they were often the same with different names until I got halfway down page 3 , no not the Sun but Amazon . An interesting one caught my eye with the Title `Wireless Motion Dual Power PIR Garage/Shed/House...

    How to keep warm?

Hatti I bought Maplin`s heated gauntlets and they do work . Each glove has a small box holding 3 AA batteries which are zipped into the cuff . I used rechargeables which lasted half an hour and they were warm . One snag apart from heavy battery use was that the cuffs weren`t generous enough to...

    Post-Winter potholes

Sorry to hear of your accident Alex, hope you make a swift recovery . Get someone to take pictures of your injuries and if you are able , a picture of the offending road . Even if you don`t take the matter further , the family album will benefit . Unless the Highway people get pressured, they...

    My new bike

Rob now you have got rid of all your money and must shift those pedestrians out of the way , nip into the nearest 99p Shop and get yourself one of their bulb horns . When pressed they sound like a louder sqeaky toy and cause merriment among bystanders . Their rear view mirrors are ok for 99p as...

    Lidl gadgets next Thursday .

The Poundstretcher ones are normal batteries , 4xAAA in the front and 2xAA in the rear . The front is like the one for £4.99 in the Argos Catalogue page 231 cat. 333/5820 . The rear has a clip which attaches nicely to my Halfords Bike Hut Rack Bag . The front of course clamps to the handlebar...

    Lidl gadgets next Thursday .

I notice the bike lights are £9.99 for rechargeable and rather chunky looking . Well I bought a set in Poundstretcher today for £2.99 . The red has 5 Leds and 6 different flashing modes and the front is small and tubelike with 5 Leds and 3 flashing modes . With these going I think you would...

    Lidl gadgets next Thursday .

No Lynda, as Skiing is orff now , except perhaps in the north of our glorious Land . I really think you ought to get one as you would look terrific in it ! I saw a Lycra rider in one the other day , I thought I was the only one . They are warm and comfortable , but one snag is that they keep...

    Kudos in Barry

Thanks for the link Scimitar , I hadn`t seen the trailer before, although I have seen the Tour Bus on one occasion .The very steep hill that goes past the house has been re-tarred for the Tours by the look of it . That hill would be the ultimate test for an Ebike .Although I live in the town ...

    Kudos in Barry

Just had a flyer dropped through my door advertising a Kudos Electric Bike Dealer .` Town and Country` electric bikes invite you to have a Home Test ride . After googling, it turns out it`s less than a mile from me . So forget the London Test and reschedule it for Gavin and Stacey Land , a few...

    16" folder electrification

Have a look at one of Hatti`s Folders . The Woosh Gale has plenty of volts and capacity . My brother has just bought the Woosh Sant Ana and it is fast , powerful and quiet . It has the same electrics as the Gale .

Took the plunge and now bought my first e-bike!!

Don`t forget a nice hi-vis waistcoat from Aldi or Lidl for £1.99 , they come up quite often . The trendy ones on here ride with Ski or Snowboard helmets, as they look more menacing and less sissy than the ones worn by the Lycra people . Much more comfortable and warm and the shell is thicker ...

    More excitement than Wissy

Could be Eagle , we`ve seen the lovely KTM but not Wissy . I see that the KTM is black not orange as all the KTM Motorcycles usually are . Must have taken too anti anxiety pills before my ride this afternoon .
