    Rack bag

I have had the Halfords Bike Hut Pannier Rack Bag on my Folder`s carrier for over 2 years . It is an excellent bag with loads of zipped pockets and a yellow waterproof cover which you can pull out and cover the bag . A good safety feature easily seen . It comes in grey and if you want to see it...

    Primroses and Canadian Waterbombers

Lynda I had heard of these iPods , I am still on the 2nd Generation Mobile Phone , the one that can send and receive pictures . Mine doesn`t, because when I rang the nice man in India to register it , I couldn`t satisfy him that it was me , so I am on my original Sim card . It doesn`t matter...

    Helmets in Aldi

Keep away from those fires Geebee . Shame those Canadian Waterbombers lying idle a few miles from here aren`t in Australia with you . Here`s a suggestion , have a word with Julia Gillard your Prime Minister and see if she can get things moving . She was born in Barry where I live , in fact about...

    Helmets in Aldi

Lynda you ought to get one of these , a Tonaro badge would go nicely on the front . In matt black you would scare all the kids in Ilminster and quite a few blokes as well .

    Primroses and Canadian Waterbombers

Lynda I was thinking where have you been not to have seen the postings on Aldi Skiing Helmets . Then I remembered you have been in Spain , a far off Country . Since you went away ( I feel a song coming on ) we are all wearing these helmets , at least the Test Pilots are for the Forum . Lets hope...

    Primroses and Canadian Waterbombers

I did 21 miles on my Batribike Folder on Medium Assist today and still had half my lights left , so no battery degradation since my last check in the Summer . I was surprised to see a large patch of primroses on a North facing slope with a hedge behind them preventing any Sun reaching them . I...

    Ladies lightweight ?

We seem to be agreed then , get a folder and don`t fold it . I bought the Batribike Folder over 2 years ago and have never folded it . They are easy to handle in confined spaces , simple to get on and off , lightweight and you can fold it if you have to .

    Hard won easy lost

Linfitter a very interesting theory, but I think you are giving the Government or the powers that be far too much credit . Most of your points wouldn`t have entered their thought processes . If they are losing road fund revenue they could make a good start on getting those cars currently paying...

New Bikes on Ebay with 2 Batterys £599 deliverd

Hello Frank just looked at their site and they seem to have more step throughs than most and the prices are good too ! The bottle battery on a step through seems to be a first .

    Helmets in Aldi

For those that crave one of these helmets , the same ones were in the Lidl at Barry today . They had plenty in white and matt black at £19.99 .

    Cycling Honours

I have been cycling for 67 years and served British Cycle Manufacturers for most of this time and a johnny come lately arrives , wins a few races and gets a Knighthood . Where have I gone wrong ?

Are Ebike Suppliers immune to Sales Fever ?

Flatbat if you are thinking of a decent stepthrough for less than £600 , you haven`t a lot of choice . The two to look at are the Woosh Sant Ana at £599 and the Pro-Rider E Tourer for £579 . I doubt whether they could be reduced much in a sale , they are rock bottom now for their specification .

Are Ebike Suppliers immune to Sales Fever ?

Apart from Kudos giving a generous discount to Pedelec Forum Members prior to December , I haven`t noticed other Suppliers doing the same . I`m thinking of the Advertisers on this Forum more than Ebay people . Perhaps they are waiting for January ? If Skoda made an Ebike it would be VAT free at...

    Helmets in Aldi

This helmet makes the traditional cycling helmet obsolete , the padding for the nape of the neck is particularly comfortable and warm . I know that it was Christmas Day yesterday , but I was the only cyclist out and not too many cars either . I must admit it crossed my mind more than once that...

    Helmets in Aldi

Well I have finally got to try my matt black Aldi Ski Helmet on the Ebike today . It is extremely comfortable , warmer and keeps sound out . It is a quantum leap over the traditional cycling helmet and I have no hesitation in recommending one . The fact that it was only £19.99 makes it feel even...

    My bike conforms to EN15194

Do you think we should go easy on this thread as we might be discouraging potential Ebikers, thereby bankrupting all the Ebike Importers , Suppliers etc . Then we could be giving ammunition to the Legislators who want to tighten the rules or find yet more ways to tax us .This additional tax...

    Helmets in Aldi

Neptune for the Mk 2 nip down to Morrisons Supermarket and buy one of their large trifles for about £1.80 .The container is a thicker dish with excellent clarity and contains some curves which will give you a Coanda effect for any rain that lands on it . Pop bottles are too thin and floppy and...

    Pro rider e voyager!

Handy though , that Company offers a natural progression from Ebikes to Mobility Scooters . Something to think about at my age , as my Wife keeps reminding me when she wants to upset me . She almost upsets me as much as our Politicians , I feel the need to take some pills fast !

I`m pretty sure EU Law trumps British Law so we have nothing to fear, even if you are facing deportation .

    Pro rider e voyager!

Well my Batribike Quartz with a 200W , 24V Motor and 8Ah Battery would do 33 miles on Medium Assist when new . I think the Pro Rider Voyager would certainly better this , judging by the spec .
