    Cytronex Cannondale capo special offer

I think it's Si-tron-ex as in Si-bernetics, Si-borg and Si-berman. PS I think the forks probably are fine. Just doesn't seem right somehow.

    Kalkhoff Cutting Out?

I had the same problem on my Cytronex. I thought it was a battery problem but on closer inspection the cut off cable to my brake had broken away and the micro switch was switching of the power for periods of time. Could be something along the similar lines perhaps.

    Cytronex Cannondale capo special offer

Tough one. I'm sticking with the Trek. It'll be worthless by the time I've finished with it :D Carbon forks and electric motors bother me a bit but otherwise lovely bike.

    UK e-Bike Market

There's the Sunday cycling posers. Expensive spotless road bikes, all the best lycra wear and pavement all the way round the block.

Cytronex bike on Gadget Show Tonight

Mark has already said that they don't get much gritting down Winchester. I'd be surprised if he's not on the original rims. From what I've read in other forums it's a case of it all depends on all the obvious variables. If you were quite heavy, rode stop/start conditions and had some serious...

Test case forced over vehicle regulations

Would the use of these, potentially, pose another lethal hazard for cyclists? Like that posed by the bendy bus.

Cytronex bike on Gadget Show Tonight

It does. Essentially the fine grit particles, that get embedded in your brake pads, do most of the damage - although wheel rims will wear out eventually because of the abrasive nature of most brake pads. What with todays lightweight alloy wheels, and them being quite thin in the middle, they can...

Cytronex bike on Gadget Show Tonight

Hard to say on the Bontragers. I can't see anything to indicate that they are up for replacement. My back one appears slippier than the front but it could just be my weight and my personel power output  Breaking on ice and frost is the main problem I had last winter - again with the...

Cytronex bike on Gadget Show Tonight

I've considered getting a pair myself Jerry and would have by now if the Bontrager Racelites hadn't turned out to be so good. I had a couple of punctures in the early days but nothing since. There never seems to be anything embedded in them either. The back tyres getting a bit slippy now and...

    Try before you buy

Tempted to visit myself one day and see if I'm missing something. On Bike sound like a very good outfit and they're not that faraway. E-Bikes don't last forever :)

Energy, Global Warming, and Electric Bicycles (Energy Flow Analysis)

I still don't get the electric car thing. Leasing batteries or not. It makes much more sense, for my bank balance and the environment, to keep my money in my pocket, drive a smaller car, change it less often while driving much less, or even not at all. Also most of us could drive more slowly...

I thought Tiberius was the record holder. Wasn't it the M5 at Mach2 or something :D

Energy, Global Warming, and Electric Bicycles (Energy Flow Analysis)

Good thread. Reminds me of the government campaign on the telly for us all to do 5 miles less per week in our cars. How easy is that for e-bike owners and cyclists.;) I haven't seen an electric or hybrid car yet I'd even consider buying. Best options, I see, are bikes for most local travel...

Easy fit inner tubes - Again

Google Cobra inner tube and it's first up. Interesting tube if it saves hassle with that rear wheel.
