Aldi bike stuf, Thu 16 July

Flecc. Look at the bigger picture - Aldis and Lidls are just part of the choice. Plus they wouldn't have lasted long in WW2.:D

    The 100 Mile Challenge

What about battery chargers? Would they have to be carried on the ride or could they be carried with the support vehicle and dropped off. It's an important point if you're sporting a couple of NIMH batteries since both could be charged at the same time over a leisurely lunch.

    Modern E-bikes not as conspicuous..

What... I never even thought of curb crawling. Has anyone ever been accused of such on an E-Bike. Just a thought. No I was thinking more along the lines of a good restaurant, a fine wine, box of chocolates etc (swiss Tony style if you get my drift). The Jag, the Bently. the Porshe, or the BM V...

    Wonder how light these are?

Pity really. The bikes looks OK if you like the organic look. They sort of look a bit low cost though. Imagine the conversation. "Well erhh yeah it cost £3K :o " Love to try one.

    Wonder how light these are?

    Modern E-bikes not as conspicuous..

    Wisper 905SE City: 3 weeks report :)

Earlier announcements this year fooled me too. I believe Toyota plan to have a plug-in Prius with a lithium battery in municipal fleets later this year. But apparently no immediate plans to sell these cars or any with lithium batteries to the public.

    rubber/plastic caps on wheel nuts?

Hi Alex, Same thing happened to me on the front wheel. I though the bike looked tidier with both caps on. I searched the internet but couldn't find any. In the end I got one off the supplier of my bike who just popped one in the post for me.

Wisper 905 SE City 1400 mile review

Great stuff. Wispers are hard to beat for high milers. Don't forget there's usually some significant saving from car servicing/wear & tear and of course, the big one, depreciation.
