E-biking is good for you - and here's the proof

I may regret this. What's the H plan?

A pump that's easy to use?

Always pump tyres with slime in the inner tube with the valve at the 9 - 12 o clock position. The slime pools at the bottom of the tyre and can block the valve. If you block presta valves you can't remove the valve.

A pump that's easy to use?

Hi Rose, I have half a dozen pumps at the moment and the only one I'd recommend is Topeak. They're worth it. Your husbands right. The Aldi track pump and mini pump I bought are a tight fit and somehow fail to push much air into the tyre. Also one of the feet broke off the Aldi track pump...

    T shirt slogan

How about this: E-Bikes are Cheetahs... Edit: "The cheetah is an atypical member of the cat family that is unique in its speed, while lacking climbing abilities. Therefore it is placed in its own genus,"

    Speeding

Rant seconded. Would have been great to have got the fastest speed across the prom and clocked though. :D

Picking up new Cytronex bikes tomorrow

Yes, I thought that was good - especially being on a single speed. Just get on , cycle and enjoy the ride. "Cannondale synapse looking like the Torq." That's just the sort of thing my wife would say. Vive la difference.:D

Picking up new Cytronex bikes tomorrow

Nice choice. Mark does a great job on those bikes. I hope the rain holds off. Good luck.:)

    E-mopeds to win over e-bikes?

And that Halo is a fake.;) Plus, I bet the motors attract mad dogs. :D

    E-mopeds to win over e-bikes?

I feel I'm missing something here. Why would you buy electric when you could have just as much fun with an infernal combustion engine at a fraction of the cost.

    E-mopeds to win over e-bikes?

That makes sense Patrick. I must say that with a claimed 100MPG the E-Moped/E-Scooter doesn't offer much for the money. I didn't realise mopeds didn't need pedals. Bit of a daft name now.

    Air Power

Tee Hee. That'd make your eyes water.

    Air Power

LOL. Could become an ejector seat. 4 bar is less than 60PSI & 110 PSI is only 7.5 bar just to give it some perspective.

    E-mopeds to win over e-bikes?

Stunning looking Scooter. Superb design. I'd never buy one though even if they had a range of 200 miles. What would I do with my restless legs and the extra calories?

    Air Power

Dream on. I don't think garage tyre inflators can do 350 bar  Interesting French designed vehicles.

Just out of the Box: Proconnects 2009.

It's a tricky one this. I used to have my normal bikes covered by paying an additional small sum to my co-op home contents insurance. The policy lapsed and when I tried to renew it they said they did not offer the bike option anymore but that it was covered by the Unspecified Personal...

Just out of the Box: Proconnects 2009.

I was hoping someone was going to say "round my house". Bring a bottle and your bike. :D

Just out of the Box: Proconnects 2009.

The Trek bicycle has been modified by a third party. The third party is Cytronex. Hang on where's the 2nd party

Just out of the Box: Proconnects 2009.

I'm of a similar mind but I remember having all sorts of problems getting my Smart car insured years ago even though it was full UK spec. They just wouldn't be told because it wasn't on the computer..:)

    Wisper 1000mile review

Good review Straylight. Not sure if it's gone into the review section but certainly it should be added to the others. BTW I think posting reviews in this section is a good idea anyway since far more people get to see it. I totally agree with your conclusion about e-bikes. The payback is...

    Time for a new Wisper?

Hi OneWay I can't make much sense of that Korean WEB page but the system looks rather similar to the American Gruber assist: Gruber Antrieb - Gruber Assist - Fahrradantriebe » Spot GRUBER Assist The Gruber is rather expensive and doesn't provide much power. Neat idea though. Hi...
