Want to hire an ebike in Brussels?

I know this might be a bit of a downer but they aren't ebikes. They have 3 speed internal hub gears and are pretty much the same bikes as they have in paris and other places. Brussels. Brussels - Villo! Paris Paris - Vélib' - vélos en libre-service à Paris - Site Officiel Antwerpen - my...

    Cree light battery/battery mod/questions

I can't tell yet, had a family member buy the regular one as a christmas present and expected them to let me use it before(being it's safety and all) but they said no so ordered the other and it should arrive in work tomorrow. I'm hoping I can set the zoom one to a wider beam like the one in...

    Blind spot

It's the shops. For years now bike shops have been faced with the same questions and given the same answers that profit them the most. Is very rare you will go into a bike shop and be told "don't buy this, it's rubbish" or "this cheaper one is just as good". When you ask in london bike shops...

    Silly Cyclists

Watch the clip that made me think of you, the truck is stationary at traffic lights. The only one the cyclist puts in danger is themself, the channel has hundereds of examples of this. Also make note of the tfl provided cycle path on the pavement.

Cyclamatic plus Broken bottom bracket axle

My guess would be that you just need the correct spindle length(bike shops call it a spindle not an axel). I would also suggest you switch from cups and bearings to a cartridge BB. Any local bike shop should be able to swap it out, some charge lots of labour as it's a simple job that looks...

    Datatag systems on KTM Bikes....

I would ask the police what they are checking for when/if they stop a cyclist or find a suspected stolen bike. Going back a few years I had friends buy into some of the tagging systems and sure they looked great with stickers saying tracked by dabolex or whatever but when we stopped at a bike...

You are still ignoring the point that the cyclist staying back will save them. I just can't understand the idea other road users should be burdened by your safety as you might decide to place yourself in more danger than needed. Learn to share the road, 5% of traffic, 0% of cargo, 0 multi...

I wonder if any of them would have been crossing the road at places other than crossings? No, nobody would be dumb enough to step out into traffic so all the evil motorists must be zooming up on the pavement all the time, it's funny when you think just how rarely you see cars on the pavement and...

    Blind spot

Drivers of HGVs need to be on the right side of the cab as do most if not all motorists. The safety reasons for this are huge in comparison, the biggest is that many drivers can struggle to position the car correctly with the line marking the center of the road if they are on the wrong side...

    Blind spot

Unless you plan to line the curbs with something the sensor can sense to give it a range then it's going to show false positives for pedestrians walking on the pavement(where the truck had no intention of going). In the video above all the cyclists and all of the curb/pavement is in the blind...
