    haibike failure again

According to the manual Er15 means the display unit is not fitted on to the holder correctly. Take it off and clean the contacts on the back of the display and the holder. If that doesn't sort it then it's probably a new display.

20 mile commute on an Electric Mountain Bike...

I didn't think you knew about the ebike option, many don't. Nothing wrong with a bit of light hearted banter with 'lycras' but people do get upset when unrealistic times are set when they have worked hard for their achievements.

20 mile commute on an Electric Mountain Bike...

Close, there are enough haters in the unpowered cycle community, why give them ammunition. It was actually aimed at Jimrod who chose to disagree!

    Speed Sensor? Torque Sensor?

I'm talking about a pre-emptive increase, once you hit the obstacle maybe a branch on the trail it is to late to increase the torque because you are already over the bars! When I am riding off road particularly when it gets steep and narrow you need to be able to control what is going to happen...

    Speed Sensor? Torque Sensor?

I don't think the gyro can predict when you need a little more power to lift the front wheel over an obstacle in quite the same way that a torque sensor is going to respond to your input.

my enerprof softpack has arrived but not with lg mj1 but samsung 35e

The Samsung is pink wrapper, the LG is green wrapper. Each graph contains the same information for each cell type. The different lines on the graphs represent discharge times at different current loadings.

my enerprof softpack has arrived but not with lg mj1 but samsung 35e

You are not reading the graphs correctly, the top one is for the Samsung the bottom one is for the LG. The pink line is a 5A load, 39 mins for Samsung and 38 mins for LG.

    Towing a Trailer

On the single unbroken white you can not cross the line, you seem to think it is ok for you to disregard the law then complain in other posts about driving standards!

    Giant FSA "custom" crankset.

I've had it (chainsuck) on my Yamaha Haibike, only happens when you shift before the motor cuts out. I try to make sure that I am in the correct chainring before the going gets tough, if I'm climbing I'm on the small chainring. Of course it can be tricky to get this right but you soon become...
