    Third party battery issue Yamaha

In the manual for your display https://winora-group.de/manuals/2017/Fahrzeuge_EU/Yamaha/PW/Zusatzanleitung_Yamaha_PW_Display_LED_2017_en.pdf it says if the display goes off after 4 seconds the battery terminals are dirty. I dont know how compatible the aftermarket batteries are but the genuine...

    Third party battery issue Yamaha

I'll repost my original reply. Yamaha system does do a handshake with the battery. If there is no communication everything looks ok, you just don't get any power. The display is powered by it's own battery, if you connect a non Yamaha battery you can switch the power on, select power levels, the...

    Haibike Yamaha eBay Batteries?

Yes PM away, but be aware battery range is very subjective. With 400Wh I have ridden well over 60 miles in the UK with 40% less, on the other hand with 778Wh on my bike today it was just over 50km with 11% left when I got back.

    Haibike Yamaha eBay Batteries?

I fitted an extender in parallel on my Haibike. It is a 378Wh 10s3p battery made for me by a guy in Germany, fitted into a home made housing. The power cables are soldered onto the original battery connections on the connector. Todays ride, note the elevation rather than the distance. There is...

Went out for a little tour this moning! Good job I fitted the extender, only 11% left when I got back. I was giving it a bit of a pasting though!

Went out this morning to test my extender battery, the local test hill is 10km long with a 1000m height difference, so 10% average gradient. Started the climb with 90% showing and finished with 60% showing. I did make the motor do more work than usual just to give it a thorough test. New battery...

    Hi from the North East

It was https://www.the-ebikestore.co.uk/ Where I got mine but crom the website I guess they have changed somewhat since I got mine. I am not in the UK at the moment so can't offer any more info on them. I would say though that the Evans cycles in Gateshead probably has more selection than...

Would be nice to be able to read the dimensions. What is your target, XC, All Mountain? How much suspension travel?

In reality it wasn't quite what I had planned. I know they are building some new routes for next season but this one looked promising but was a dead end. Will try a small variation soon;)

    Strictly Motors

Biggest problem on my Yamaha with no power on is the extra weight and tyre drag. It is more than 10kg heavier than my mtb and has more aggressive tyres at a lower pressure because it is an ebike a bit of extra drag is worth havind for the extra grip on the downs.
