I cant tell from the photo of the Rio, but are there holes/mounts for fitting a pannier rack to the bike?

I use a garmin edge 520 and use garmin connect to create routes...it works pretty well, and saves flattening my phone battery all the time using google maps....and its more cycle route friendly

Measured it just...Id say its 27.2....maybe a mm smaller than that...maybe thats my tape measure

OK, cheers.....my seat is quite a lot higher in comparison to yours....i could actually do with my handle bars higher but thats another story........ so I tend to try and get the front of the seat pointing slightly up...looks like that lower U piece is serrated to move it up or down a bit which...

Tempted to get one of those....dont want to spend loads as Ive never tried one before. Is the tilt angle of the seat adjustable with it?

I think that's asking just a bit too much ;) In all honesty, it would be great to buy a bike that would last a lifetime...or a few years at least, but given the high mileage, I'd be happy if it lasted a year without spending 2 weeks every 3 months off the road. I would budget for the upfront...
