    Hydraulic Disc brakes

Thinking of putting hydraulics on my stealth, as I will be keeping it as a second bike in the future. Not quite sure what to look for, lots of variation in prices, here are a few on ebay.... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/151947340760?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT...

Yet another cycle to work help request... Short steep commutes & occasional longer country rides

Looks a lot cleaner like that. So you could use a rack that has fixings at the bottom and a seat mount at the top end

Ah, right... I thought you said in a previous thread it didnt have any mounts for racks....or do you mean none at the top end?

New to pedelec have a 2nd hand cyclotricity revolution

Im sure d8veh will give a much clearer answer, but there will be a small disc on your crank which has magnets in it. It spins with your pedalling...it should have a nice unifrom gap between that and the small sensor attached nearby....with a wire going to your controller. The gap needs to be a...

Yet another cycle to work help request... Short steep commutes & occasional longer country rides

I have this on my Stealth at the moment...not the nicest looking thing, but does the job nicely. Standard bike rack with a plywood board screwed to it and a point to hang the rear light on

Total cost of an ebike, around 45p a mile?

Wow, if I did that I would be cleaning my chain every lunch break at work ;) As long as mine is running smoothly, it gets extra wetlube on once a week, and degreased every other week...about 120 miles week.

Does the bike I need exist at the right price...

Although Ive pretty made up my mind to go with the Woosh Rio MTB, i'm going to the 50 cycles Altrincham opening event next Friday. Worth a look around. Will be interesting to see these "expensive" bikes in the flesh to see what the difference is with the cheaper chinese bikes. Got these in mind...

    Suspension seat post

Put the post on this morning....what a difference it makes! Cant obviously compare to an expensive one as I have never tried one, but for £12, its an absolute bargain. Thanks for the tip LeighPing ;)

No longer have a car, new to Ebikes...

Ive had bad experiences of online sales, particularly with my current bike. But, I would still do it again. Just need to do some research and manage your expectations a bit before you take the plunge. Yes, it would be great to live near the online retailer so you could just drop your bike in if...

Thoughts on using high intensity flashing red light during day

I have lights on front and rear, day or night, blazing sunlight included. Had a few dog walkers whinge at me, my response is I want to be seen, so of they see me, thats all that counts.

    More cyclotricity problems

Battery just arrived. Actually looks like a brand new one...maybe they have just changed the casing, I guess there is no way to tell that. Thats pretty much every electrical part replaced so far if it is. Charging it up now ready for some testing later.

    route /navigation aids

Yes, I got it because it should come into its own when I move house. Ive already plotted routes out using google earth and connect, so pretty confident for my first commute into work
