    Help! My next project

Are you sure that you don't have C4=4.? It should be C4=3. Mine goes instantly to full power.

    Modifying to Torque Sensing

No, it's only 5v; however, if you leave the 5v wire connected to ground for a long time, it'll eventually blow the 5v regulator in the controller.

    Modifying to Torque Sensing

A throttle is a very simple hall sensor powered by 5v. On it's own, the signal wire would give a fixed 3v. There are two magnets that rotate with the lever - one N facing, the other S facing. When the S facing one is very close to the hall, the voltage on the signal wire goes down to 1.2v, and...

    Help! My next project

Mine is a 260 rpm 36v, which is the same as 328 rpm 48v. It works perfectly for the steep hills around here. They're maybe not as long as yours, but some are very steep, like up Ironbridge Gorge, which is a climb of about 350 metres.

    Are E-bikes overpriced?

That's why you want the KT controller. Of course, you could get the Hitway and upgrade the controller to a KT for about £60, which would bring it much closer.

Help testing Raleigh EVO Controller and cables (Motherboard) after water damage to plugs

It'll be easier to mount the controller externally, either in a standard controller box or in a saddle-bag. Make sure that the listing shows SVP in the designation number on the label for sine wave. Look for a 36v/48v one, not 24v/36v, so that you have the option of 48v in the future. Look...

    Are E-bikes overpriced?

MiRider has KT controller and throttle set up the way we like it as a power boost. It also has some other minor refinements that the Hitway doesn't have, plus full UK support. Personally, I think it's a bit expensive for what it is, but it does its job very well as a lightweight utility bike...

Prices of the electricity we use to charge

Here's Amazon DLU10 being very green by putting green soundproof screens around the diesel generators that provide the power for the EV chargers, so that nobody can see or hear them. I guess this is because they're obliged to provide a certain quantity of charging stations:

    Modifying to Torque Sensing

It depends on the controller, but I can give you a rule. Measure the voltage on the white wire coming out of the controller when it's switched on. if the white wire is 5v, the second wire goes to ground, and if it's zero volts, the other wire goes to 5v. The three wire ones are simple because...

    Yose power

The 350w one spins faster than the 250w one, which is the last thing you want for towing a trailer or riding off-road. The 350w one would be good for commuting and longer bike rides if the higher speed was allowed, but it isn't in this country, nor most of Europe. Power = torque x speed Let's...
