if you have to climb the hill towards Howarth,you will need a good climber... I've only done it in the car but my powabike euro will climb similar hills in my area....

all lights are on,i think he may have traced it to the spade connection from the controller that is in a heat shrink near the handlebar brake cables. I will give him a ring tomorrow to find if he was successful,thanks for the advice.

has anybody got any clues as to what could be the problem with a Powaybike euro that cuts out.It doesn't matter whether its in assist or not..New battery,if fact the bike has only done about 3 miles since new.I suspect it may be the throttle or connection to it.Its somebody elses bike..not mine !

i thought my lead acid battery had died 12 months ago. I had done less than 2 miles from fully charged when the battery indicator went virtually down to 0 and the bike seemed to struggle...then the temperature warmed,the daffodils appeared and my battery sprang to life again...roll on summer !

mine also lives in the garage....and the battery in the house :)

have you got the new powabyke ? the old type one doesn't have throttle lights so it sound like you have a new one with a bottle type lithium battery
