Swizzbee (aka dolphin) anyone got detailed knowledge?

What if I wire a new 36v pack in parallel and then cut the old battery out of the circuit ? This way the 36v connection is never broken ? Any issues with this. Do you think ?

Swizzbee (aka dolphin) anyone got detailed knowledge?

Not really as that would ruin the ride of the bike which is based on cadence being the variable which controls the power assistance .....which is then blended within the differential Plus it would ruin the looks as the buttons wouldn't work, and LCD would be required, sensor on bb etc. I mean...

My sympathies also, sad indeed I was usually on the sidelines of any discussions but certainly he made folk think and was a force for change (as per Dave)

I've posted this on ES as well....But just in case.... Hi All, I’ve recently acquired a Swizzbee ebike in amazing condition. They are extremely rare in the UK and rather unique in the way they function (and in my opinion great looking machines. I’m afraid I’ll need to give the information I...

Gsm kit with internal controller - 44.4v?

Sla to lithium conversion for electric scooter

Good question! I'm using Panasonic cells from an 8fun battery- they are a shade over 2000mah each. ( 6s 3p so 22.2v and 6ah ish) I did think maybe duff cells but tested that pack against 2 different Lipo multi star bricks (22.2v 5.2ah ) which should cope with any likley required c rating? At...

Gsm kit with internal controller - 44.4v?

Yes. Understood! I actually do have a 4s Lipo brick that I use on another bike as a booster In the end I just used that with a 6s brick to get 36v nominal. But only a 6ah pack so I had to all the hard work anyway. Pas on 3 not 8 or 9 !

Advice please on a replacement controller.

I've had this a few times same as others have mentioned And it's been dodgy phase bullet connections. I'd cut them off and solder directly . If you can solder then there is a good chance this will solve the issue with no cost ! Nothing to lose really
