    Consumables bike warranty

Well, if you've worked out the economics of it and it's favourable, why not? It is a useful selling point, and unusual enough to get some attention.

Range experiences from Lithium Batteries with high power motors ?

Two years ago I built my 36V 15Ah Konion battery pack and found the range to be nearly 30 miles driving a 750W hub. That wasn't throttle-only though, but a fair mixture of pedal and throttle. Time is taking its toll and the range is dropping into the low 20 miles as the batteries age. There are...

    Bed Bugs at the UN.........

I'd not heard of Pat Condell until I found his videos a couple of years ago - he'd already been hard at it, of course. I immediately recognised in what he was saying a resonance with what I'd observed and had been keeping a watch on over the years. Of course, he's quite even-handed in his...

Back to track, complete brompton maintenance

It's not a mile out. Before you tighten the furthest out ones, you must slacken off the ones that are too close. Just a half-turn at a time will do.

    Electric Cars prospect failures

You had to buy 'Motor Spirit' at various chemists and hardware stores en-route. Of course, one's man did it for you.

    Phew! Britain's weather strikes again.

Oh no; that last fortnight of baking weather was bloody awful - I couldn't get anything done outside or inside, just had to keep cool as much as possible. Last two or three days it's been persisting down here, got plenty of inside stuff done though; but not stuck my nose outside at all. Weather...

    possible to run Q100 24V 328rpm on 36v

I got one of those last week, for powering a Makita drill. Including the charger, it works out at far less than the price of a comparable capacity Makita battery. As my drill batteries die, I'll just replace them with these. Seems well made and the hard case will protect it from carelessness, a lot.
