Suntour suspension seat posts with gel seat

Expensive error , can you just return it for the correct one, especially if it was the vendor who told you that you needed a 31.6 dia. i must admit to buying the smaller option (27.2mm) and using seatpost shims if required to fit a larger frame. My thinking was that all my seatposts fit...

Can I change tyre width 27.5x2.10 (smart Sam)

yes there could be issues going to wide but I can only speak from my personal experience. I have 4 sets of 19mm wide rims, 2 with 2.35 apple’s and 2 with smart sam’s The biggest being 2.6. I’ve had no problem with squirming. this is what Schwalbe says https://www.schwalbe.com/en/reifenmasse

Can I change tyre width 27.5x2.10 (smart Sam)

No problem that I can see. I’ve had tyres from 38 to 65mm wide on the same rim without a problem (as long as you have frame clearance for bigger tyres) noticeably bigger than your present tyres, if you want to stay with Smart Sams you could go 65mm wide 65-584 (27.5 x 2.60)

Carrera Crossfuse (Active Line Plus) struggling with hills

Looks like you are getting your Bosch motors mixed up, the ALP motor in the crossfuse has a 42t chainring. My cube with the alp motor had a 38t chainring and I’ve recently replaced the worn drive line with a 42t chainring and an 11-42 cassette. With such a wide range cassette there’s a bigger...

    What's the best Map App

“ (slightly illegal) “ no such thing as slightly illegal, a bit like being slightly pregnant :p riding on footpaths is illegal and I don’t recommend it, not because it’s illegal but mostly because on a country footpath you’re likely to come across styles and the like and there a bugger to...

    Skies are clear

living within a mile of a dual carriageway and another main road, I had become used to a Slight but constant background noise. Now I can hear individual vehicles especially when they are modified cars or fast bikes, “Hooning around as they call it down under “ and there’s more of them than I’d...

    Skies are clear

i had a plan that kept me working up-to 60 (18 months away) but that relied on me earning and adding to savings, enough to keep me going to 65 without drawing my pension early. No kids and living by myself means I don’t have to leave anything after I’m gone :p
