    Forking bad luck

I'm told if I make an appointment at a big Apple Store (25 miles away) if they can't fix it there and then, then it will be replaced as its only 2 months old. So much for my first venture into smartphones, I've grafted the nano sim back into a big sim and I'm back with my old clamshell :(

    Forking bad luck

not a problem I can't overcome but what a day ! Earlier this week I'd decided to upgrade the forks on my cube acid one, i thought I'd gone about it the right way by checking the manufacturers spec. OEM headset = FSA Orbit 1.5B ZS-R, Top Zero-Stack 1 1/8" (OD 44mm), Bottom Zero-Stack 1 1/2" (OD...

I was passing a mountain warehouse last week and popped in on the off chance  I picked up a blue waterproof cycling jacket for £14  original ticket price £69  it's a proper coat as a posed to a lightweight pack away job. The following day I was on a 3 hr gentle club...

    Tyres

I have an acid one and two sets of wheels / tyres, 2.25 big apples & 2.25 smart Sam's, both in the plus variety with the added protection ;) The apples are great on road and exelent milage, the Sam's are good off-road and TBH feel just as quick as the apples on road but I wouldn't be cornering...

    Short Cranks on Bosch DU

You wouldn't find it quite so amusing if you'd had multiple knee OP's leaving you with arthritis and limited movement. Ground strikes have never been a problem for me either, even with my 160mm cranks & offsett pedals being lower than 175 cranks o_O but that's down to choice of line and...

    Short Cranks on Bosch DU

    Short Cranks on Bosch DU

The quote below is taken from the CX page of Bosch's website. "Whether you have long or short cranks, Bosch provides the right support, according to the torque. Short cranks give you extra ground clearance for eMountain Biking. Your specialist dealer will be able to make the corresponding...

    Why pay for software upgrade?

Your not wrong there, I paid £45 for mine Green body & white face for my green cube . I did have one of those £5 digital jobs but difficult to see and the battery lasted less than 2 months, so when my thunder ball numbers came up (well £100 worth) I thought I'd treat myself :p There are...

If you happen to hear a chainsaw when you are out on your bike...

    Transporting batteries when off bike

Expensive yes but not made of glass, mine sits safe and happy in the rear passenger foot well. :) If involved in an accident you'll be in more danger from the loose battery flying around inside the car,

Bosch! The good, the bad and the ugly!

True, my last post wasn't until I questioned the latest software on my active line plus. I'd only covered 625 miles so far but all without issue. Nobody want to read posts like I went on another 33 mile ride today and nothing went wrong

    Active line plus latest software

OK so my software has been reinstalled but no change o_O I rode home the long way, 25 miles with plenty of bridalways inc some good climbs :) I'm now leaning towards the idea of a more dynamic sports mode. I don't think there's anything lacking in turbo mode, if anything it's the sports mode...
