    Ebike wheel wont stay on

Quite some years ago I was getting out of my car at my local supermarket. right in front of me I saw two ladies walking towards the store, there was a metal frame like an inverted U with a disabled parking sign across it, the lower edge was about 4 foot off the ground. One lady walked to the...

Hi folks, I’m in Northampton and looking for a bike for my sister, ideally with a mid drive torque motor. Some superfluous history  I’ve been cycling for years and added e-biking about 13 years ago. starting last summer my sister has been joining me on my shorter rides (up to 10...

For Sale Cube Compact Hybrid 20 for sale

What lockdown! At least every other day I’m either out on my bike for exercise or out in my car as a career. I’m seeing an awful lot of cars especially around town and I don’t think they are all essential journeys o_O at least the country roads are quieter ;) and Sainsbury’s is dead at 7:30...

    Cube Delivery

I’d ordered a new model Cube and it was due Jan 2018, several Manufacturing delays and the bike finally arrived 6 months later ( the model, size and colour that I ordered was the last on the production line) Im enjoying the bike today but looking back, I wish I’d canceled the order and found a...

    What if it’s stolen?

Obviously, I had a hell of a job finding the receipt for the last bike I sold after 3 years of ownership (I found it in the end). When the bike is second or even third hand the paper work isn’t always available. Good will and a 100% seller isn’t a guarantee that someone else hasn't been duped.

    What if it’s stolen?

if I buy a second hand bike (Bosch) and it needs to go back to a dealer for any reason, would the dealer know if it’s stolen when it’s plugged into the diagnostics? I don’t want to buy a stolen bike but you can’t be 100% sure My reasons for asking. A Victoria eUrban 11.8 E-Bike has been advised...

    turning off Bosch battery

I’ve never heard of this and I’m now on my second Bosch powered bike (the first was 7 or 8 years ago) I take the battery off the bike after every ride but when I’ve left the bike unattended the system turns itself off after a few minutes anyhow. Both my present and previous Bosch battery's...

    Rechargeable heated gloves

Alternatively a sheet of bubble wrap across your chest, it’s been a recent revelation for me. Up until a week ago I’d be wearing a long sleeved thermal base layer, sports t-shirt with a fleece front panel, soft shell jacket with extra material over the chest and to finish off a light wind proof...

Oh I seem to have messed up!

I’ve picked up a little lay knowledge over the years, I’ve found the ally used in bike frames is quite hard and not very ductile while the filler rod used for welding it seams to be softer and more ductile, probably because it needs to melt at a lower temperature than the ally it’s joining. any...

A few too many years ago a mate of mine had a remotely located garage, One morning he found his the door bent like the op’s, that afternoon I fitted two hasps and staples to the concert floor and the steel door, one at the bottom of each corner. A few weeks of feeling comfortable passed and...

Petition to increase speed assist limit on E bikes

OP surly you knew what you were buying before you brought it ? and now it’s not good enough. it sounds like you need an S class bike and keep to the roads. I’m not saying that you’re going to race along shared paths at 20mph but the law says a peddle can use them, as soon as the law changes...
